Animaker is a perfect platform supporting novices to create engaging animated videos for educational or marketing purposes. Recently I had the opportunity to explore the app while designing an instructional video for a professional development course. As an educator seeking to improve my instructional game through the use of AI tools, I found Animaker to be just what I needed. The application provides a one-stop-shop with all the tools needed for animated video design including characters, landscapes, music, AI voice overs, text features and more. I love the video I designed and believe the animated video story will engage my students in learning an otherwise boring literary lesson. A couple difficulties included struggling to guide the AI voiceover to emphasize certain words and struggling to turn down the background music volume. However, these issues may be limitations of the free version of the program. My best wish would be for an option to purchase the Starter Package at $25.00 per month (rather than paying the annual fee up front) to help me affordably try out the program to see if it is worth the investment.

Reached out to customer service about the Gen AI video feature and got a quick, helpful response. It's only available on the premium plan, but they offered a 7-day free trial to test it out. Good support experience so far. Will update after I try the feature.

I had an issue where Japanese text appeared as broken characters in my exported video. The support team (special thanks to Bala and Rufus!) responded very quickly and kept me updated at every step. They escalated the issue to their team and fixed it perfectly. The Japanese text now displays correctly.

What impressed me most was their politeness, quick response time, and the clear progress updates throughout the process. It's rare to find such thoughtful and reliable support. I'm very satisfied and will continue using Animaker for my video projects. Highly recommended!

I loved the experience. I did not know Animaker. It is very easy and intuitive to navigate the plataform. And I could very easily clear up all doubts through tutorials - no extra help needed.

Doesn't support digital accessibility. Content generated by AIs doesn't meet WCAG even when explicitly instructed to.
This renders the product useless for government or most businesses which are legally bound to produce accessible content.
