Love the sleek design and light weight of the Ampler Curt. I have the first generation Curt (2020). Dislike the 25km/h limiter a lot so that I end up biking on my partner’s bike (Cowboy 3) for longer... See more

My Ampler Curt is a brilliant commuter companion - it rides like a performance road bike on steroids - it's light and fast. With the belt drive it is completely hassle- and rattle free. The design is... See more
The bike meets my expectations exactly. It's only been a few rides, but it's a lot of fun. A bike without frills, solid and comfortable for everyday use. When riding the Stout without motor support, t... See more

Great service and after sales. Bike is more than lovely.
I have an Ampler Juna in June 2023 and it's the worst bike purchase I ever made. The app doesn't work, or doesn't connect half way through a journey, so you basically end up with a 'fixie'. Their customer service is poor - basically expects the owner to keep resetting the app, reinstalling or resetting firmware. That works for a day or so, but then fails again. There is no longer any local support in the Netherlands. Avoid!
Here is an update to my review as Ampler have now solved this for me. The bike was taken back for repair and although this took several weeks, there is now a repair centre in Amsterdam. The bike itself is wonderful now the controller has been replaced - no issues with connectivity and it feels a great, safe bike to ride. Customer service is extremely helpful, a little slow, but I feel they are trying their best (in who knows what circumstances).
A robust and fun e-bike for urban commute. No issues up to date for my Curt. Low maintenance is needed for the belt drive which performs surprisingly well on flat ground without assistance.
I really enjoyed a tour on Ampler Stellar in Brussels. Very nice to ride and easy to go uphill. It was even very easy to ride without electrical power supportin as the bike is so light.
A very nice ambassador has helped us in excellent way. It was a nice customer experience with this excellent bike. It is a bike with E...helping to keep speed when needed, but also easy to handle without E.
Happy to have Axel part of new family member. Good quality and happy tonuse it all year around.
My yellow Juna is a great bike! The electronic assist and Ampler motor are really good and makes riding the bike an absolute pleasure. The frame geometry of the bike, the sturdy tires and hydraulic breaks make this bike very comfortable and save to ride, also for someone 178 cm tall like me. Headwind? I hardly notice it.
Some improvement points for me would be an optional external battery to increase the range and holes for a regular bike lock.
I bought my ampler Axel as a "Jobrad" in Germany through my employer. With my bike the range with one battery charge was way below the 50-100km that ampler claims in their technical data. In my case it was more around 30km at 70% motor support. I documented it and made screenshots with the Ampler App. Ampler refused several times to support me and they told that it's normal because the battery is loosing up to 3% of the charge per day when the bike stands still. But even if I had calculated that in the bike could not be totally empty after one week and 30km. In my opinion that's not acceptable and it's nowhere stated in the technical data on their homepage. But the worst part was that the customer service refused to support and also refused to take the bike back. I had to ask the purchasing department of my company to support me to find a solution. In the end after several month of writing E-Mails, the contract was canceled and the bike is back at Ampler. I can not recommend to by an Ampler.
The Servicepoint employee took all the time to answer my questions. I tried out 2 different Ampler models and I got good advise on what suits the best for the purpose I want to use the bike for. I did not get pushed to make a choice on the spot what I think is great service. I am convinced I am going to buy one after this. I just need a few nights sleep to decide on the model because both bikes where amazing.
Thank you for the great help Brayden! Ampler is lucky to have you!
Wonderful bike. Elegant, technically excellent. Colour extremely beautiful. A tiny screw on the brakes loosens quickly so that the brake handles can be pushed through too far. Had to retighten the screw twice.
I still haven't received the bike, despite the time elapsed,
Fantastic bike. Lightweight, fast, and smart. Only downside: App has to reconnect every now and again, Bluetooth Standard is just not as stable as the industry propagates. I 100 % recommend the electric bike for people looking for a fast commuting bike that is lightweight enough to be ridden without electric support.
I have owned my Ampler bike now for around 18 months . I live in Tallinn , Estonia .. my experience is :
1. Poor battery life especially when things get chilly.
2. If you don’t have a charge point near your bike storage you need to carry your bike to one. Non detachable battery is not clever .
3. Flimsy charge port cover .
4. Battery and charge display stopped working within 12 months.
4. Poor customer service.
5. No innovation on the bike stand . Don’t rely on it .. the bike is blown over in the slightest winds .
Very expensive for what you get. You are better off buying at Euro 1600.00 electric bike , many of them have detachable batteries , with longer life , Bosch motors and better value for money.
I wish I've would have read the reviews here before buying this low quality bike. Lot's of problems with software and electronics, crazy delays with customer support. It feels like a scam
Bought a Curt last year when they had some issues with the batteries during launch of the me models. Fitting a new battery took a few weeks, but in the end they handled it well and the bike has been great ever since. Customer service really tries to do things the right way, but they’re a little understaffed compared to the demand it seems. Other than that I can strongly recommend them.
I had the Generation 1 Curt for almost four years until it was stolen recently. I loved it and didn't even think about any other alternatives for the new bike so I went ahead and ordered a Generation 2 Curt. It's like the same bike but every single part seems to be just a little bit better! Also, having GPS in the bike feels like a good idea.
Love the bike that I use for my daily commute. Its the best bike I have ever had.
