TWICE

Goldcoast Ambulance submitted my claim to Medicare as not medically necessary so the claim was denied, and I had to pay the bill. This is the 2nd time. All the paperwork from the hospital stated transport was medically necessary. The drivers told me, no worries. Then Goldcoast says after review, they felt it was not medically necessary. TWICE!

Was in training with Sophie who made my training a nightmare I believe I was discriminated and dealt with so badly. On day 2 for being late she sanctioned the group which was fair enough. She then expressed after giving us the sanctioned she told us she is going to the toilet and said she had better hurry then I said because we are late in a joke and she laughed along with the group.. Then day 4 the group explained the Internet wasn't working on the portal so in the morning Sophie gave us a little support so we could all get access to the portal. I was unable to finish because she had spent a lot of time helping us and we needed to get back to training. She asked us in the afternoon to start revision because we had a little spare time I hopped back into the portal to finished and she came beside me and said can you do that in your own time. I replied I was just finishing off the portal quickly and reminded her the Internet wasn't working in the hotel she snapped and replied I do remember but you will have to do this in your own time I replied ok. I was taken back by her sharpness and unhelpful support but said nothing. At the end of the day she asked me to stay behind she said to me is everything ok I replied yes she said I can't put my finger on it but sometimes you come across a bit off. I asked for an example she didn't have an example. I spoke to her line manager with upset because I had an exam the following day and I felt attacked without a reason for the cause . I was given a feeble explanation advising me she was checking into my well being. The moral to this in a professional environment like 999 I felt totally attacked. On the Monday when I arrived at Norwich the trainer said is Marie here I put up my hand and said she I'm here amongst the other members of staff and said oh ok and that was it. I didn't pass my exam due to feeling uneasy of the treatment I received from the trainer I felt nervous and unsupported.
