Amazon uk used to be a really good…

Amazon uk used to be a really good company to deal with until they got tangled up with Morrison's. A lot of the items i now want are only available from Morrison's if you put in a £40. 00 order. When you want something for instance worth £10.00 why should you want to spend £40.00 to get it. I would have thought they must be losing a lot of trade doing this. If I wanted to put an order like that in I would certainly not yse Morrison's as the times I have tried them they don't deliver half the things you order and substitute far higher price items. Go back to how you were Amazon it was a lot better shopping experience.

Amazon's delivery service failed as my wife kept being asked for her passport for her passport…

My wife ordered a present for my 8oth birthday but I didn't get it because the delivery man did not identity himself but kept asking for my wife's passport. He had earlier phoned but just shouted that he wanted a passport. I assumed he was a scammer as we get calls like this from Indian scammers.
He should have been taught how to present himself by just saying he was an Amazon delivery man.
In the end I just turned him away as I had zero trust that he was genuine. We get many deliveries from firms and never have any problems. We will never use Amazon again but deal direct with firms which we do with no problems.

Amazon seems to have no control over delivery drivers.

Overall I like Amazon but there is a serious problem with the delivery service. Most of the drivers deliver packages to my front door as I have requested but there is a delivery person(s), who delivers packages after 5:00 PM who will not do so. My driveway is about 3 car lengths and there is a clear walkway up the driveway and a path to the front door. Because the driveway is difficult to maneuver I have a sign for delivery vehicles to not drive in. There is also a auto block asking them not to pass this point. Some of the drivers, or one, has decided to leave my packages on the driveway and not to walk up to the front door. This has been done regardless of weather conditions and I have found packages soaked in rain or buried in snow. But the driver routinely reports that the package was 1) left at the front door or 2) handed directly to a resident. One driver drove into the auto block and destroyed it. I have had landscape damage from Amazon trucks. I have called CS numerous times to complain and each time I have been told that it will not happen again yet it does...over and over. And the driver doing this knows full well that s/he is not complying with my wishes or else s/he would not report that packages are being left at the front door, which is what I requested.

As a comparison, UPS and Fed Ex instruct their drivers NOT to drive into the customer's driveway. They are instructed to park on the street and walk up to the customers porch to leave the package. Why Amazon's drivers have the need to drive into our driveways is not clear to me

Wrong Product delivered, sent back same day, considered a fraudster and unable to get a legitimate refund???

I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Max from Amazon and received a Drum Tuner. I returned it the same day, and they considered me a fraudster. My refund request was sent to the fraud team, who replied after 10 days that I was making too many returns. I explained that this was the first return I'd ever made because they sent me the wrong product!!!! They replied that they would refund me, but I had to send back an iPhone Pro Max???!!!!!! I replied again that I hadn't received an iPhone but a drum tuner so I cannot send something I did not receive and is the reason of my return!!!!! Since then, nothing. Customer service says they can't do anything because it's handled by the OFM fraud team, and they can only be contacted by email. Customer service calls me a fraudster and hang up on me !!!! So, I can't do anything about a legitimate return that I wouldn't have made if they hadn't sent me the wrong product. It's been three weeks now, and I'm still waiting for a response, despite my follow-up emails no reaction no way to contact Amazon and an honest customer being considered a fraudster for a wrong doing of Amazon with a wrongly delivered product and unable to get your money back???!!! Totalllyyy crazyyyyy!!!!!

I use amazon.be quite a lot as there's a lot I can't buy locally. They've never been great but recently it's much worse. They seem to let anyone use their platform to sell any old rubbish. I've had to return so much lately. Items not being as described, taking weeks to be delivered or not arriving at all. It's really shameful. The only reason I've given them as many as 3 stars is because I rely on them for some items.

It seems that this company is another scam!
I ordered a surprise lot after their advertising at their highest price at that time!
And surprise, when I received the package!
There were poor quality items in the package, one of them had a stuck button, and what was advertised in their advertisement was not in that package!
I contacted them, made an official complaint, and they responded to my complaint with a 20% refund of the amount paid!!!
Even today I have not received that amount they offered!
This is from August 2025!!!
So, the scam company!!
Do not buy anything from them anymore!
This is the only way we can appease these online thieves!

Amazon's discriminatory and xenophobic customer service

Extremely unprofessional and discriminatory customer service
I had a terrible experience with Amazon Customer Service agent Sameh. Since she/he kept saying things like ‘we’ll help’ and ‘we’ll handle it’ instead of actually answering the questions I asked, I tried to ask more detailed questions to be sure. Then she/he said, ‘Let me ask you something,’ and asked whether I speak any language other than English. Naively, I said no.
Instead of helping me, they asked IRRELEVANT and INTRUSIVE QUESTIONS about my RESIDENCE PERMIT, AGE, and MARITAL STATUS, clearly trying to belittle me. The actual issue was caused by the agent’s own lack of knowledge, yet they attacked me personally in a rude and offensive way.

They also requested multiple personal details unnecessarily, which felt like an attempt to obtain my private information illegally. This behaviour was discriminatory, xenophobic, and completely unacceptable.

I have always trusted Amazon for its professionalism, but this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in their customer support.

Politness is soft word. I have definatelly experienced the best of all star givers. Polite and professional client service; at least all my issues has been always professionally solved. Nice good range for all households concerning everyones budget. I made a ride from the cheapest till the mountin top to the most expensive one and no complain, nor either much in my lifetime since I oder with Amazon no need to return. Its good thing that all world comes in Amazon together to offer their exeptional unique products cheap or expensive one's. Amazon has a lot of drop points as well possibility to collect packages or drivers which gladly work hard till dark for company & delivery and Amazon customers. Keep going like fastest Mustang coated dark grey & black! I'm definatelly satisfy and no worries for those fake stars. They just want you to drag down! Proficiat!

Worst service ever!

Worst service ever!
I recently ordered a mattress from Amazon. The size is 90 x 190 for single bed. It first took me several times to call them to arrange delivery as the delivery company/person (UPS) do not even bother to check if anyone at home and just run away! When they finally turned out, they only leave the item outside and refuse to help me bring it in. I could not lift it by myself, too heavy, luckily there is someone around to help. Then I noticed the size of the mattress is wrong. I contact amazon and they told me it is the right size and said if anything wrong, they will collect and replace it. However, when I did open it and told them this was wrong item, they said they can not collect the item outside of Germany !!! and ask me to return it myself!!! What a ridiculous service! I contacted the customer service again, they said until I return it, I will not get refund. So this is, dead end. I am really angry and recommend no one should buy thing from Amazon.com.be again! they do not provide the same service like what I have received in the UK!

Most convenient for Amazon, not the customer.

It is extremely inconvenient that I am forced to stay at home in one three specified a nonnegotiable time. Just deliver the package to a kiosk or a pick up point close to me. Maybe Amazon is trying to save money by not having to use the local infrastructure but I can sell them to be home when it's convenient for you to deliver the package. I contacted the CallCenter and there was no way to get around this.

Every attempt something went wrong, and they I got blocked.

Tried to reach their support and recover my account, for one week no response. Great work amazon !!

bad customer support

I buy very often from Amazon Germany and I almost never have any communication problems in terms of behavior. Unfortunately, Amazon.be is not good at all in terms of customer service. I bought something that was different from what I ordered. Their support was not good and unfortunately I ended up with a worse product than what I ordered without Amazon support. When I wrote a negative review, Amazon rejected it and told me that it did not meet the requirements. I am sorry, but Amazon in Belgium is a market that I will never prefer again.

Amazon Belgium: worst Amazon

Amazon Belgium is the worst amazon ever! I received an email on 18th June that they have received my return and today, more than two weeks later, still no refund. On amazon France (luckily that's where I have a membership) the refund is automatic we don't even have to wait until they receive it. Simply upon reception of the deposit of the return by the carrier you are automatically refunded.
