This review is on my husbands profile.
On having received a dress I ordered for $79.95 the sizing was very small and the fabric a stretch jersey of sorts and looked very cheap.
On contacting the company they refunded me letting me keep the dress and replace it with a garment of my choice which was very generous.
But on receiving it today it's a terribly poor imitation of the photo sadly.
The fabric is a stretchy 'plasticy' jersey , the colours are garish and cheap looking, the 3/4 sleeves nothing like the original photo, but will serve as a house blouse😕 . I get to keep two rubbishy garments .
The customer service from Amara was excellent, unfortunately the products from China let them down.
The sad result of shopping for clothes online is many of the main street shopfronts have had to close, and I've contributed to it, so now we have to put up with this !.😪

Product arrived faulty, even with arrow stickers indicating fault and they refused to pay to ship back to China. They are not based in London.
I have photos to prove how they arrived.
Shocking quality too

Just received my order after waiting ages. Shoes were plastic and cheap rubbish. In bin.

Do not buy from this company. I should have checked them out on Trustpilot beforehand. No order number, No purchase confirmation. Weeks before delivery and poor quality goods.

Having read all the reviews for this company how are they receiving 72% 5 star reviews. Make sure you read the reviews before you buy!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Chinese tat shop who claim to be London based but require you to return the item to China, they offer a small percentage return and you keep the item although the quality is so poor I don’t know anyone who would want to!! When questioned they offer 15 percent although I really don’t believe they would honour that.
All in all, a horrendous shopping experience. AVOID OR LOSE YOUR MONEY

Firstly, I think two companies on Trustpilot are confused. One is owned by House of Fraser (the link to their website is on this page). The second is a clothing line called Amara London. This is a Chinese based company suggesting they have a shop in London but I can find no proof this actually exists.
I purchased a Dress via Facebook. When it arrived it was very poor quality. When I tried to return it they said I must send it back to China at a cost of £9.95.
I did not see that information when ordering. Although it now says that on their website.
They did offer a 15% refund and I could keep the dress. Subsequently offered a 20% refund.
I offered to return the dress to London as I think that was reasonable cost.
Please don’t have any dealings with this company.
I will attempt to also complain to Facebook.

Dreadful product, £20 return fee to China, misleading on quality and description, definitely do not buy this product, the reviews are not accurate. Their shoes are cheap, have a strong chemical smell and are not as described - no arch support.

Beware this company is based in China,no free returns as suggested in some reviews. The usual scam they offer 15% discount if you keep the item, bear in mind how much it would cost to return it anyway with no guarantee they will refund you.

I made the mistake of buying two dresses and two tops (buy on get one free). Didn't realise that they would be dispatched from China in three different packages. The quality of the clothes was terrible and decided to return all of them. First they offered for me to keep them and choose from their collection replacement garments but would need to pay £9.90 postage for the new clothes. I declined. They offered me a refund of 15% and could keep the badly made clothes. I declined. and have since sent all of them back cost me more for track and trace postage, but I don't want their clothes in my house and would have been embarrassed to give them to a charity shop.

They took my money for a product they didn’t have, canceled the order almost instantly, and now I get the added privilege of waiting to get my own money back.
Not having an up-to-date online inventory doesn’t just cause momentary frustration—it actively drives customers away. Unfortunately, experiences like this leave a lasting impression, and not the kind that encourages future purchases.

A total con set up. Fabulous photography and should have been suspicious at price reduction. Also conveniently their website says Trustpilot 4 stars but doesn’t let you click through. Bought the mules they have been pushing on FB and hey are just dreadful quality. Expect cost them £2 to make , charging £40-90 for them and they will fall apart in minutes. Outfits like this should not be allowed to trade

Lucky to get one star. Really poor quality dress, material see through and cheap. I also am attempting to send back and have received the same reply as the rest of the reviews on here. Do not order from this company.

Have been emailing for weeks trying to find out how to return an item. Dress was absolutely nothing like the picture. No reply, no order number provided and no paper work in the parcel. Seems impossible to return so no chance of a refund. Not a good experience and will avoid from now on.

I wish I had looked at reviews before I purchased two pairs of shoes. I had no idea that they would be coming from China. They were all plastic and didn’t fit. The returns procedure was extremely difficult to navigate and when I finally managed to find the return label and address it cost £23.50 to return . I’m hoping that I receive my refund but have very little confidence.

I am a standard 18. The dress I ordered , an 18-20, was far too small.
When I went to return it I discovered that all the hype about London on the web site is irrelevant as you have to return it to China which costs as much or more more than the dress I ordered. I shan,t be ordering from them again

Has taken much longer than expected, & the quality is actually terrible, looks cheap, would never spend nearly £40 on them if I knew. In addition they were supposed to be red not brown. Looked much better on the picture. Would not recommend. Would say it's rather from China not London.

Do not touch this company they are scammers they took my money £59.41 i have not received my purchase i phoned them they said they had no knowledge of my order i sent them a copy of my order they responded we cannot find your order. They have sent several emails and they can hardly write english what does that tell you ?????

Liliana dress I ordered is NOTHING like the one photographed or described. For a start, The neckline and hem are crudely sewn in white thread, and it is made from cheap, thin polyester. The photograph would suggest the fabric is of a cotton blend, and there is no visible stitching round the neckline or hemline.
It is so awful I wouldn’t even dream of trying it on. Costs - £ 39 much too much!
I have a feeling I have been scammed, but have no way of going about issuing a formal complaint. Judging by the number of complaints on Trustpilot this is a ‘company?’
I have very bad experience with Chinese goods. I was fooled by Amara London once again I made mistakes. I haven’t checked and I want to send it back.
I am certain I will not get a refund, not probably any communication from them. I have wasted my money. Everyone else - BEWARE and do not buy from them.
