Menopause & Weight gain
For over 20 years, I stayed the same weight — 47/48kg. People said I was “too skinny,” but it was my normal. I never stepped into a gym, never dieted, and honestly… I used to complain about my weight even then! 😅
But around 3–4 years ago, things changed. Perimenopause hit, then menopause — and suddenly my body wasn’t behaving the way it used to. My weight kept creeping up no matter what I did.
- Ate less
- Tried working out
- Tried intermittent fasting
- Cut down chocolates & crisps
Nothing worked.
By August 2025, I had gained nearly 8kg, and it felt like it wasn’t stopping. After years of trying on my own, I knew I needed help.
I’d seen so many trainers on Instagram and Facebook, but always thought, “It’ll be too expensive… I’ll just manage myself.”

In just 5–6 months, I lost the weight I’d gained over 3–4 years — without:
- extreme workouts
- going to the gym

She taught me how to eat in a way that works for my lifestyle — and I still enjoy my food today.
I usually never write reviews, but I had to for this. Deepa truly helped me get back to my normal weight and, more importantly, feel good mentally again. ❤️
