BEWARE. Allstate Roadside Assistance program is separate from agent. When informed Allstate on 6th that February 9 last day and not renewing home and auto due to their huge rate increase, girl asked will I be canceling roadside and I said yes as new insurance includes this with no additional charge. The roadside program debited bank account again after cancellation with Allstate. I learned hard way no easy way to cancel. Had to speak with numerous different out of country call centers and the last, very rude, barely understanding him due to poor English, same as others, finally transferred me via phone with someone I could understand. 3 hours later of calls, I hope it’s cancelled. Strange since Allstate charges so much money they can’t afford a proper English speaking out of country call center? Allstate client for 8 years. Allstate agents shared they have no control over the prices as they key the information and Allstate system gives the price. I liked my agent just not Allstate pricing and went with Farmers agent that quoted $1000 less for same coverage but 2% deductible. Allstate said if I went 2% deductible would save me $50. No brainer.

Mia bullock was the insurance adjuster I would not recommend. If you get this agent I would ask for someone else. The answer she was giving me the was not correct. Allstate is the worst insurance company. They have been denying everybody’s claim ,when the other insurance companies are approving the claims. Do not I say do not go with this insurance company. You will regret it. The other new guy called Dimitri Mauricio knows nothing can’t even take pictures rt. Took almost 30 days to get the quote back. sorry

I was an allstate customer for over a decade. I had one hail claim and they fabricated a way to drop me. They couldn't show me in my pilicy where it was written other than "at their discretion ". What BS zero customer service and boy sure know where their customers stand now! Sooooo disappointing!

We were told by an agent, ML, he/she said 'I have never seen any company take all the accident money away from people" Our first contact with her. Called several more days to try to get specific, cause lets face it, after a trauma, you need to rehear and rewrite, and so i did. AGAIN, we were told the same thing. When we couldnt get this Allstate claim worker on the phone, the phone was past on to whomever was , sitting in the office. We asked to speak directly with her boss, who refused to call, but basically said the claims dept is handing the process and they cant get to all information as this time as we still need to wait for ALL THE BILLS TO COME IN FROM THE ACCIDENT.
OK, so we are now waiting for the rep from the health insurance company to communicate with Allstate. Vague information from Allstate from the health insurance agency, its like a big secret. WE CANT TALK ABOUT ANYTHING UNTIL ITS ALL DONE. well it's not all done....... The people in the accident were told they are getting a figure written on the document they are given, they have the party sign a document that is so outrageous, no date, no allstate office info, a signature page on the 2nd page. ALLSTATE Does not care about you or anyone else. ALLSTATE dropped the ball as ML was absent from Allstate on numerous about of days, we got several workers, some nice, some very cocky and unprofessional, we asked for the direct supervisor to call and no call made for clarification, just more smoke screens and magic tricks that make no sense. I called my agent to get to the bottom of this and the Dutchess County Office will not speak to the Agent's office. For all of you who have no idea, just like us, about a serious car accident and the word is Subrogation: is the legal process where an insurance company, after paying a policyholder for a loss, inherits their right to sue or seek reimbursement from the party actually responsible for the damage. It allows insurers to recover costs for claims like car accidents, property damage, or medical bills, which can also help policyholders recoup their deductible.
Who know this?? We sure didn't know.... read up on it... quite insane. Unless someone has a million dollar policy, you'll not see any money. No one cares and they told me to complain to the Better Business Bureau.
We are told by numerous amount of claim workers in Dutchess County NY, their office negotiates the amount of money the health insurance company will take. You think that happened?? NOT AT ALL

My friend was involved in an accident with a driver insured by Allstate. I am also his insurance agent. The accident occurred while both vehicles were stopped in line at a car wash. The other driver attempted to change lanes and backed into my friend’s vehicle. At the scene, the other driver admitted 100% fault.
Allstate has taken the position that my friend is 15% at fault. My friend was completely stopped in his vehicle at the time of impact.
We obtained video footage from the car wash, which clearly shows the other driver backing into my friend. Despite this evidence, Allstate claims my friend was “too close” and that their insured could not see him. Notably, the other vehicle was equipped with a backup camera. Initially they said he had room & should have taken evasive action, now he is too close.
We presented the video evidence, but Allstate has refused to reconsider their position. Horrible Company to deal with.

I had to do an auto claim with allstate, they low balled the estimate by more than half of what it's going to cost me to get it fixed, I took my truck to three different body shops to get estimates and took the estimates to allstate, now allstate is ghosting me and not responding to anything. Worst insurance company ever!! Im surprised they are still in business!!

If I could give Allstate Canada a review of ZERO I would. The customer service is a nightmare. They give you the runaround in hope that you will give up. All I wanted to do for two years is update my insurance policy to record that the new mortgage holder to Bank of Montreal. The hoops they make you go through are a nightmare. They repeatedly make you send them proof, then they can't find the proof. Then they make you verify your identity repeatedly because they make you speak with someone new each time. They are a JOKE.

I was a customer with Allstate for three years, holding both auto and home insurance policies. While their claims response was decent, their business practices are unprofessional. My premiums increased at every renewal until they eventually increased premium 50%—even though I was told a 'no-fault' claim wouldn’t affect my rates.
To make matters worse, they canceled my policy after a two-month delayed in payment without even informing me. I received no response and no notice regarding the cancellation. Planning to move out. Do not recommend

Their attorney is among the most prejudiced Trump supporters I have encountered. This man takes prejudice to another level. I had an accident and my medical expenses were covered by Allstate for almost one year until I met with Allstate's attorney. He met with the owner of the establishment I was suing, who was as prejudiced as he was, and then denied my claim due to allegedly knowing the owner of the establishment. However, it didn't stop there. Allstate not only denied my claim but also added an additional surcharge to my premium. They applied it to my 2025 vehicle, not the one involved in the accident. They also sent me a cancellation letter with an additional pending fee and a letter stating that fraudulent and misleading information was given. He wants that applied to my record. Beware if you file a claim and don't look like him — white — this man will try to ruin you!

I’ve had homeowners insurance with AllState and had zero claims, yet my premium jumped 24.8% from 2024 to 2025. When I received my 2026 bill, I called in to ask questions and fully verified my home address and policy number. Despite that, the agent refused to help me over the phone. I spent 15 minutes on the call and got nowhere. The rate increase was frustrating enough, but the lack of basic customer service made it worse. Now I see all the 1 star reviews here and understand why.

I am an 80 year old widow on a fixed income. I pay $2500 per year for insurance. My water line to the refrigerator developed a leak. It caused considerable damage to the kitchen floor and ceiling downstairs. Allstate came out and inspected it and decided it was my fault and denied the caim. I will be cancelling my policy and looking for real insurance as soon as I make the repairs. I would recommend that those who have Allstate, get a different insurance company before anything goes wrong. And those who are looking to buy insurance, definitely do not purchase insurance from Allstate.

WORST RENTAL INSURANCE EVER! I got a pipe burst on our apartment last January 26th 2026 my landlord said we can’t move back yet until Feb 11th estimate since they need to fix ceiling hole , wood tile broker and unfumidifier machines is noisy. So I file a rental claim tSince I have $6k ALE , and $15K PPP and the agent told me those are not covered since the place is livable!! So zero will be approve on the rental insurance claim? who would live on a place not yet finish renovation? This company is a joke what a scam !!!

Horrible claims experience. I was at zero fault for accident, hit by a teen driver in a hit and run - my car was parked legally. Allstate not valuing my car according to market and underpaying me by $1700.

Guys this company is awesome. The claims process and sign-up is simple. They honor the policy and as long as you be honest with them will be the best insurance you ever had. I love the micro-plans on EBay when i buy laptops and phones etc. It is reassuring it is a good buy. Oh and there at alot of retail stores WalMart BestBuy etc.

We have Allstate for our homeowners and auto insurance bundled. When we discovered we had a leak from pipes under the house that damaged three rooms, we contacted them to file a claim because we trust our homeowners' coverage for things out of our control. Normal routine procedure, right? No. They sent someone to evaluate the damage from the pipes. It seemed like an easy claim, and they brought us a humidity dryer, that's it. The evaluator seemed to think we would have no problem being covered for repairs.
We had to call a plumber to cap a line, with an out-of-pocket expense of $300, hoping to get reimbursed or receive good news about a claim. After some time, an insurance guy came out to evaluate. His bedside manner was atrociously arrogant and dismissive. We asked what the next steps were, and he just replied, "You'll get a call on our decision."
About a week later, the floors were still soaked with water damage, but they did leave a "moisture" dryer. An adjuster informed us that the pre-existing pipe issues wouldn't be covered for repair. We were astonished and heartbroken at this point.
We bundled our car and auto insurance, trusting them to help with mayhem. It turns out, their commercials don't explain that they are part of the havoc you experience when you trust your company to have your back when life happens. Allstate took advantage of the opportunity to let us down when we needed them. That was about seven months ago.
I mentioned we had auto insurance in the bundle with autopay, and we never missed a payment. One day, my daughter and I were driving and got a flat tire. We thought no big deal, we have roadside assistance, someone will come and change the tire. That's what we pay for.
My husband called them as he handles these issues. He called me back to say they aren't coming. Our autopay insurance wasn't collected, and no one could tell us why. To make matters worse, when we tried to pay them over the phone, they refused and said they couldn't reinstate our policy for six months due to non-payment.
We were mind-blown. My husband had to leave work, go get the jack from home, and then come find us. We were stuck in a truck with a large stray dog barking aggressively while we waited for help, but no help came from Allstate, despite our perfect payment history. I couldn't exit the truck to pull the spare out from under it because of the dog. My husband eventually rescued us and returned home to find out why our insurance was canceled. Again, no answers, just dismissal.
As I conclude this horrific experience and betrayal of trust from a company we thought would have our back and protect our home, our hearts are crushed. We cannot understand this situation in any capacity. Do not ever trust Allstate because to them, you are nothing but money.
We are now with Farm Bureau for auto insurance. We can't get homeowners' insurance with them because of the water damage claim that Allstate denied, which has to be fixed before Farm Bureau can cover us on a policy. Allstate's greed for money and lack of help when we needed it is an absolute slap in the face. Don't trust them because they absolutely don't care.

Absolutely atrocious and incompetent call center agent. Pablo put in wrong information, was unable to explain or answer questions on top of a thick accent leading to a language barrier. He refused to abort claim and transfer call to a more competent agent. Instead he hung up! I called back and had to spend more than a hour reaching another more competent & caring agent. After 10 plus years home and auto clam free I’m beyond disappointed with Allstate and wouldn’t recommend to any human alive.

This company has no value between cost for a new roof and the amount actually given to repair one..For example gutters were estimated at 600.00 but cost me 1200 to install..The total for repairs was 3800.00 but whole roof was damaged ..I have sand bags and plastic on my roof and denied help because of the previous claim..can someone please help me navigate through all this ..I have paid 55000.00 in home insurance and when I ask for a new roof fixed..they deny me ..wtf is is insurance for??
