Never Paid out

So while I was living in colorado , my son and myself , was impacted by another driver , we both sustain injuries , my son was only about maybe 5 -7 years of age! All state drug me through the Ringer. Giving me a hard time at every turn. So both myself and my son was going to therapy so they hurried up and tried to make me some have cocked settlement. And I took it so that I could go ahead and focus on my son, physical therapy, children's hospital rehabilitation. So my son reached MMI medical maximum improvement, and there was nothing more that they could do for him going forward. The information was provided to the insurance company and I did what I had to do and just to let you know that my son committed suicide as a young man and in the autopsythe report still mentioned the scares on his knees, so from the time that this idiot ran into us up into the what time did my son alived self? The autopsy reports states about his knees and you guys never did anything to pay,out into a trust you just swept it under-the-table so it could go away. You ought to be shamed of yourself. You really should be ashamed of yourself because you totally did not pay out anything. To my son regarding his injuries from this car accident, you guys are sick group of individuals and there needs to be laws in place to circumvent display type a thing from happening. all insurance companies are so quick to just take your premium, whether they're doing a automatic withdrawal or whether you're paying them by check or whatever form on you making a payment to them. They're quick to take your money. But when you get in a car accident, it's no fault of your own, they're quick to get to the round table. The long table have these meetings about how they could not pay you or pay you minimum. You owe me money and I expect to be paid on behalf of my my new child at that time that the accident happened. Whoever the big CEO is eating your big fat steaks in your lobster. getting gout and eating your decadent desserts and traveling your dream places on your vision board, little bitty peon, like me you never did give me any thing you're disgusting. I expect payment ASAP.And or you can return all my money that I've paid out to you guys to my for my car premium, you could pay me back every time, but it still doesn't satisfy that you you paid nothing for a child's injury. You make me sick to my stomach. The\nDate of a loss according to the paperwork that I still am in possession of is 02/08/2001 claim.\n Number 6798090673. It's no excuse for somebody to be this ratchet, and do something like this to a mother and her child, it doesn't make sense, it didn't den? And it, and it doesn't now. I had to put some date in the Date of experience so it doesn't go back.That far.Is the date that this happened is in the body of the letter. 5 months to settle claim

5 months to settle straightforward water damaged kitchen claim! Initial estimate from Allstate was 50% of estimates from three different contractors. Claim process was unduly complicated, requiring conversations with multiple claim adjusters and intermediaries. Initial call was troubling. Adjuster spent more time warning me about all of the things Allstate wouldn't cover than she did about what they would cover. Her demeanor was very abrasive. At one point, we waited over 5 weeks for a response from Allstate. After 20+/- years with Allstate, we cancelled our policy.

Find another company to insure your property.

During many, many years I paid money for my three insurance contracts with Allstate and was happy with the low price. Unfortunately Now I have a chance to understand the reason for my savings. It was a big mistake to sign the contracts with them. Almost 3 weeks ago my car got damaged. It was a "hit & run", my car was in parking, we were not in the car when another driver hit it. For sure the police and insurance company agree with our 0% blame. We had reported the accident to a Collision center and to Allstate immediately. What do we have now? Nothing. The claim adjuster is not reachable by phone, she ignores our voice messages. We have no response for our emails. We can not reach any management but the insurance company's website blocks all management information and shows just "The request is blocked". We have found video of the accident and sent it to Allstate, so now the insurance company has full information about the second car and driver. Result? They still require us to pay a deduction. It is a mark of unprofessionalism and breaking of rules and contracts. We can not use our car in the same manner because a door window is blocked open. Would you like to drive a car with an open window when it is -20 degrees outside and snowing? Our car is not secured during parking due to not closing the window properly. We can not park it and rent another car, because the Allstate option to rent a car is just one more fake. They offered us the car rental company but noted that the daily limit is about $50 and total $1200 per case. Problem is the minimum daily rent cost is more $70 in the assigned rent company and a vehicle of appropriate size (required for medical reasons) rent price is more $100 per day. Just to remind: Allstate can not help us for almost 20 days. Allstate Canada is a useless insurance company. I had only paid a lot of money as insurance premiums but the company does not offer any service, most of their benefits are just fake!

Do not sign up for autopay!

When I transferred to Allstate, the prices were competitive and I really liked my agent. It is too bad that every 6 months my auto insurance went up approximately $300 dollars. By the end of the second year I was paying double the first. I canceled my policy online and with my agent. Would you believe they charged my card anyway and continued my insurance? Just another lesson in not signing up for autopay. Although they charge you less money, be ready for them to keep taking. They are as bad as the government.

Great Service & Clear Communication

Kylie was amazing to work with! This was my first time ever calling about insurance, and she made everything so simple and stress-free. She explained things clearly, broke down all the information in an easy way, and really tried to get me the lowest insurance rate for my case. I would definitely recommend her.

ROLE MODEL 4 CUSTOMER SUPPORT

2026!! Hello id like to take a moment and recognize an employee by the name of Deidre Coltrane . She by far exceeded my expectations for customer service. She went above and beyond to assure I was given valuable info to get the very best Collison center and also the very best car rental. She had been my 14th call of the day and her positivity had totally erased those other calls. And continued to be encouraging. Im so glad I had the privilege to talk to such a wonderful woman. It is very rare today. 2026 is going to be one of her best years to come. Again Deidre I cannot thank you enough. Your patience are so soild and knowledge of your job is very impressive. Disappointed in Alstate

I've had Alstate for awhile now an paying full coverage my car was hit in the drivers back side I did the picture takeing on my own which was a mistake Alstate came back with a really low estimate on my car i went an got an estimate on my own an to fix my car is alot more than what they offerd ik for a fact it wil cost more than their low estimate i was sent a check an told take your car to the shop of choice an whatever it cost over we will pay i find hard to believe this cause your estimate was so low now I wasn't at fault when this guy backed into me in the parking lot but everytime I chat or call I get a different answer onwhat to do like this is my fault im to the point I said just give me a check option an im done with this.Disappointed to look over your reviews an read im having the same issues that others are having i advise every one to read your reviews on anything before you get it or you'll be like me 100,000 In collision an getting low estimate .

Allstate is Useless

I have tried to contact my so called "AGENT" by email several times with no response. I went by the local Allstate office to find doors locked and note "Working from home". My homeowner's insurance increased by $400+ and car insurance went up 20%. I have moved my car insurance and saved $400. I intend on now moving my homeowners insurance. Allstate is useless and looks like trying to collect monies paid in western NC floods. Who needs an agent! Allstate also goes around rate increase laws by just raising the replacement cost of your home, WHAT A SCAM! And for every complaint you get the same reply to email Allstate at the community site which is just another useless response. They never follow up on the complaint and have no remedy to satisfy any customer.

The worst possible insurance company

The worst possible insurance company. The claims services never respond, even when I left a voicemail to call me back on never heard back from Jessica Morris. Charity however responded once. Also they will put you at fault even if you are rear ended. I would advise everyone to go with other insurance companies even if it is a little bit more expensive. Trust me this company is simply not worth it.

Tenants insurance…

Called to cancel tenants insurance since I moved in with my daughter. Call on dec. 10th and was told it may take a few weeks to process. I emailed them all necessary paperwork the same day. January 5th I noticed they took another payment out of my account!

I wish I could zero stars.
Worst service ever.
Two weeks and several voicemails later, one return call to tell me someone else is going to handle it because she was too annoyed by me leaving several voicemails.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Called to cancel a policy was placed on hold for over 3 hours. Set for a callback. I finally get a callback and the minute I mentioned I was canceling the rude woman that called me scoffed and hung up on me.

Cancel car insurance

I called a talked with my local Allstate agent on May 20, 2025 to cancel my car insurance only (I also had a homeowners policy). The agent gave me her email address so that I could email her my request which I sent, and she confirmed via email on May 21, 2025. My bank draft was stopped by my policy was not cancelled. On July 3, 2025, my policy lapse for non-payment and was sent to collections. I knew this was not correct so when the collection agency contacted me, I called them after about the 3rd text message. I let them know I do not owe this due to the policy being cancelled, and she requested the verification email which I sent to her. I let her know that I am not sure at this point if this was an actual employee that worked for Allstate that had access to my banking information and my SSN. Also if this is put on my credit due to no fault of mine I will be contacting an attorney. She tried to assure me that this was a local branch not Allstate. I let her know that I purchased my insurance through Allstate. I contacted the BBB and CFPB. Fast forward this has now been put on my credit. My credit score has dropped. I have talked with Jake at Allstate who initially stated they could not do anything since it was so old. It is December. I asked for verification of our conversation, and he could only give me a Letter of Experience. I then asked for a supervisor or manager. At this point, Jake said no was available, but they told him to process my information. He requested the email for the local agent confirming the canceled policy. A few days later Amanda called and requested the same email which I sent and CC myself. They refunded me the difference of the $49.16 I was due and closed the case; however, my credit score is still down over 100 points. I called Allstate back on January 2, 2026 and talked with Ala she didn't understand me being frustrated and I asked for a supervisor or manager. She stated she would have one to call back which they did per my request the next day. Today January 3, 2026 I talked with Joseph and he was trying to skirt around the situation as well. He spoke of everything until I let him know that I had reached out to the credit collection agency yesterday who stated the file was closed on December 23, 2025, but this could be on my credit for a while (it could take 30 days or longer). He stated he would try to get the credit collection agency to expedite to remove this off my file. I let him know that if I were rich this would not be an issue and if I were refused/denied credit that would be a problem.

I've had the misfortune of trying to…

I've had the misfortune of trying to work with Allstate regarding a homeowner's claim. It started at the agent level where they would not let me talk. They would not let me explain my situation and they became very combative towards me. I finally had to tell the people stop calling me and they said okay. You stuck calling us also. I then changed to the home office and asked them to help me with the situation with the agent and to file my claim. Today I spoke to a claims adjuster who constantly interrupted me as I was talking and all she wanted to talk about was my deductible. So finally I asked her I said are you going to let me talk and I cursed at her and she says I'm going to disconnect the call. I said that's fine because I really don't want to talk to you. But I do want to talk to your boss.

I would give negative starts if there was an option.
Purchased a laptop with coverage expecting support if accidental damage occurred. The laptop later developed a burning smell and stopped working, making it unsafe to handle. Despite explaining the safety concern, the only options offered were repair/shipping or “canceling the insurance”
This was very disappointing, as the protection plan did not provide a practical solution when it was actually needed. I would never recommend this insurance, especially for laptops or computers.

Customers should carefully review the terms before purchasing.because if something like battery burning issue comes up no matter what you have to risk your life to bring that to repair shop. If something happens to us it’s ok but they need their repairs done., even when it’s not repairable.

I canceled my Allstate policy in June…

I canceled my Allstate policy in June after speaking with an agent. I was told the policy would be canceled. They took my details and confirmed the request.

They kept charging me anyway.

In August, after seeing more charges, I placed a stop payment with my bank. My bank blocked Allstate’s payment attempts. Allstate kept trying to charge.

Then in November, after months of failed charges, Allstate finally canceled the policy on their end, added penalties, and sent an alleged balance to collections.

I called Allstate to fix it and asked for the June call transcript or proof of my cancellation request. Instead of providing proof, they apologized, redirected me to collections, and the collections rep threatened credit bureau reporting unless I paid.

This is unacceptable. I requested cancellation. They continued billing. Then they tried to punish me for blocking payments for a policy I did not want and did not use.

I will not recommend Allstate to anyone.

Worst Experience ever!!!!!!

If there was an option to five NO STARTS that’s us exact what I would do!!! The entire time that I have had this lousy insurance has been nothing short of a nightmare. They are horrible!!!! Premiums are ridiculous and they look for reasons not to pay claims. Worst experience EVER!!!!! I will never prefer anyone to ALL STATE. Matter of fact…. I will do all I can to advise others to not subject themselves to the foolery we had had to deal with.

Scumbag Insurance company

These scumbags of an insurance company have canceled my homeowners policy Christmas Eve payment was due on the 20th I was out of town working, they got full payment for the remainder of my policy December 22nd and they tell me they can’t rewrite me to to the delinquent payment. They also tell me now that it will take up to 3-4 business days to refund my money. I wouldn’t insure my dam wheelbarrow through Allstate And if I could erase the one star up there I would. They get zero stars
