Easy purchase process, quick and responsive customer care via online portal - recommend for car and home insurance.

My wife's car was hit from behind on motorway. Third party admitted liability. Car deemed a category D write-off. Valuation on car given for write-off well below actual value of car. 4 months prior to the crash market valuation given on renewed policy was 28,950 however market value offered after crash was 25,000. When requested to provide evidence of where they came up with this figure none was provided. Therefore, as a result of this accident, caused by a third party, we are significantly out-of-pocket to purchase a replacement car. I will never deal with Allianz again. All is fine until you have to make a claim then their approach changes completely. Beware.

Allianz insurance Irresponsible company has no respect for customers. I have been requesting a refund for two weeks and have not received any response. My advice to you is to stay away from this company.

Paid pet insurance for 1 and half years. Never maid a claim. Tried to change the IBAN to pay from another bank account and it failed twice on their side, with their own people inputting the IBAN and details.
Changed back to previous bank account, got an email and document from them confirming everything was ok.
I was away for a month and got back to having the insurance cancelled, no previous notice. Apparently they failed to charge my account despite having money in it and all the details correct and decided to cancel my policy.
Called them to resolve since it's an issue on their side and I'm happy to pay and keep paying but they are unable to resume the policy and no decent explanation on why they were not able to charge my bank account and why they decide to just cancel it. Zero customer communications about any issues until they decide to cancel it.
Joke of a company. Website seems like it was made back in the 90s.

WARNING PET INSURANCE. we insured our dog with them .1st 2/3 years we didnt bother to claim for small vet bills. then he got bad diarrea needed investigating they paid ..then 5th year he got a serious ear infection we claimed it was refused. on the grounds that in previous years he had numerous ear infections ( which we didnt claim for ) and cause of this they wont pay, so in 5 yrs we made 2 claims and they paid one . i would expect this treatment from a small grab your money and run insurance company not ALLIANZ cancelled policy as quick as i could. my warning keep clear of them .

⭐ Incredibly rude customer service when declining a renewal, I called Allianz to explicitly state that I would not be renewing my car policy this year. The first time I queued and finally got through to an agent, the call was abruptly ended/hung up on. When I called back a second time, the agent’s attitude was defensive and rude from the very first sentence. When she asked if I was calling to let the policy "lapse" on the renewal date, I asked for clarification on the wording. Instead of explaining it professionally, she repeated it in an incredibly condescending and hostile tone. Utterly pathetic customer care just because a customer is moving to a competitor. Glad I took my business elsewhere.

Every year, when I go to renew my dog's insurance online with Allianz, there's a problem - and today was no exception. I wish some of the other well-known insurance companies would cover dogs - if they did, I would be their first customer!
