I had an excellent experience with Alison Law solicitors through their representative Mr. Adnan Rafique. This was in relation to drafting a loan agreement as part of the conveyance for the transfer of my property from my own name to my limited company name. Adnan has been excellent throughout in terms of speed and clarity of communication, provision of the agreement within agreed tight time-scales. He came across as very knowledgeable in this area of law and guided me with elaborate explanations both for the short and long term views on the matter which helped me to think of the plan ahead. He conducted himself professionally throughout and liaised well with the rest of the solicitors from different firms. I wouldn't hesitate to use Adnan and his firm again in the future.

I was seeking a professional advice regarding some Visa process for one of my friend. I have tried so many places and I am quite aware of the background of immigration as well so I wasn’t satisfied in. Didn’t manage to get the right advice and then this morning, I’ve got a call from this company, from a person named Riz Ahmed he was very detailed very tomorrow, and literally answered all my questions and the best part did not even ask for any fees which is very amazing but so rare so now I know for any of my immigration needs where do I need to go?

Thanks to all staff starting from the polite and very helpful reception desk admins (who passed all messages to their colleagues) and to the solicitors and management director. For passport applications, you need to start to apply far in advance because it may take 2-3 months. Discuss with staff the time work will take as in the agreement it is said that application takes up to 8 weeks to apply. Check carefully the contact details and communicate to avoid delay.

I would highly recommend this form I have used them for my partners immigration matter and personal injury

I cannot stress enough how utterly disappointed I am with Alison Law. Without a doubt, this has been the most horrendous company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Their incompetence, negligence, and blatant dishonesty have left me no choice but to escalate this matter to the Legal Ombudsman and the Solicitors Regulation Authority. This firm is an absolute disgrace to the legal profession.

In September 2022, I engaged Alison Law to handle an immigration appeal hearing, for which no date was set at that point. Right from the beginning, alarm bells were ringing. My original case worker failed to attend our scheduled meeting, showing a complete lack of professionalism. As if that wasn't bad enough, the invoice I received did not match the initial quote I had received. Instead of the quoted amount of GBP1800+VAT, the invoice was for GBP2160 with zero VAT. This discrepancy is simply unacceptable.

Within the 14-day cooling-off period, I promptly notified them in writing that I wished to cancel the engagement. However, a person named Nadeem Akhtar, who presented himself as a senior figure within the company, assured me that he would personally handle my case to a high standard. Regrettably, this turned out to be a blatant lie.

An appeal hearing date was set for March 23rd, but to my dismay, it was adjourned because Alison Law failed to meet the deadline for submitting the witness statement they were contracted to produce. This caused immense inconvenience, as my wife, for whom the appeal was intended, does not have the freedom of movement or the ability to lead a normal life without a visa.

However, the final straw came when a new appeal date was set for July 11th. Once again, Alison Law failed to meet the court's document submission deadline, resulting in yet another adjournment and an indefinite delay. This level of incompetence is beyond comprehension.

Throughout the 10-month engagement, I made countless calls and sent numerous emails to Alison Law, desperately seeking updates and details regarding the promised witness statement. The responses I did receive were filled with empty promises of timelines that were never honored. Each phone call ended with false assurances of callbacks or responses that never materialized.

Alison Law has shown a complete disregard for our best interests as clients. In fact, their actions, or rather lack thereof, have caused significant damage to our case, disrupted our lives, and inflicted immense stress and uncertainty upon us. I cannot emphasize strongly enough: DO NOT use this company! They are nothing more than con artists preying on vulnerable individuals during a crucial time.

I want to express my utmost disappointment and shame towards Nadeem Akhtar, Raisah Ahmed, and John Hirst. Their conduct is inexcusable, and they should be removed from the legal profession entirely.

Save yourself the pain, frustration, and financial loss by avoiding Alison Law at all costs. They are an utterly incompetent and unreliable firm that should not be trusted with your legal matters.
