From the beginning with Alexander Kitchens designer Alistair at the Horsham showroom to Teresa at Masterfit keeping us well informed of the process and the superb work of all the fitters we now have our dream kitchen.
They answered any queries or concerns we had and nothing was too much trouble.
We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Alexanders in Worthing, including Masterfit, have re-fitted our bathroom and built some fitted wardrobes for us.
The whole Worthing team provided excellent service.

Any problems we had, they rectified at the earliest possible time. They have done a fabulous job on both contracts.

Never used this company before, but will certainly use them again in the future.

What can I say, recently had my dining room and kitchen, knocked through to form one large kitchen diner.
From my initial enquiry to completion, it went like clockwork, bar some unforeseen setbacks, which Masterfit reacted to quickly and efficiently. As a load bearing wall had to be removed, Alexanders worked hand in hand with the Structural Engineers and Building Control.

From a empty shell, I now have a WOW factor Kitchen/Diner thanks to the whole team at Alexanders.

Note:- this is the third kitchen from Alexanders over many years.

We’re delighted with a new shower room that Alexanders have just completed. Great workmanship by everyone involved, from fitters, electricians, plasterers, tilers, not to forget the help we had at the planning stage. Easy to deal with - Teresa kept us up to date with what would be happening when and resolved a couple of small issues quickly and easily. A good aftercare service too, which is a huge bonus.

We have recently had both a kitchen and bathroom fitted. The service level of all the staff from designers to fitters is excellent, all very friendly and helpful. The filters worked cleanly without too much disruption to our lives. We are very happy with the units and the kitchen is exactly how we envisaged.
For the bathroom the fitters were again great but we did have a design issue. However, Alexander’s resolved the issue and the bathroom looks great.
Teresa at Masterfit is very helpful and efficient.
From our experience we would definitely recommend Alexander for kitchen and bathroom supply and fitting.

I've dealt with Alexander Kitchens on a number of occasions and have to say they are faultless. Mark Hunnisett (Bathroom Designer/Manager) has been my contact there from the beginning and hands down he is the 'Gold Standard' of customer service. His attention to detail is impeccable and second to none and he just makes you feel like you are his only customer. He's been with the company for years and really knows his stuff, but what makes him out stand from his competitors is that he genuinley really cares, whether he makes a sale or not. That's an extremely rare quality.

Mark is the reason I keep going back to Alexander (just about to order new bathroom), even if I can find the same products cheaper elsewhere. At the end of the day you pay for what you get and Mark just gives you a premium service that is worth every penny and more. Thank you for all your help and advice Mark and look forward to doing business with you for many years to come.

I went to alexanders to install a kitchen that would be high quality and last, and to have the installation managed from start to finish as I was busy. It was not their fault that on removal of the old kitchen a water flow was discovered underneath the kitchen that had to be dealt with. However, I did most of the 'design' myself, the inhouse designer only seemed to have stock solutions for a small space. The electric sockets were not placed where I asked them to be. They failed to cover the new wooden floor in the hallway causing scuffs. They failed to take away rubbish, I always had to remind them. They failed to do an installation plan with me which resulted in the wrong handles being chosen by them without consultation with me, the wrong electric sockets being installed (plastic) and they subsequently could not install the ones I had purchased. No proper bin system was ordered. They ordered the wrong flooring. But worse, the installing plumber knocked the stopcock and cause a flood into the new kitchen. The dishwasher and washing machine have failed within 3 months (Neff). They have had to come back and reinstall the under sink plumbing system to improve it. But only 3 months into my new kitchen I am washing up dishes in the bathroom sink and taking my laundry to a public service. Each time they have responded and send someone to help fix it; and those workers are unfailingly polite. But the whole installation has been problematic from start to finish. I have been enormously disappointed and I could not recommend them.

After Alexander’s fitted a new en-suite was so impressed we got them to replace our kitchen. Results don’t disappoint and back up service second to none

Project was a knock through dining room kitchen and installation of new kitchen. I was nervous about organising and coordinating this project myself and I am pleased I commissioned Masterfit to handle the building work as well as kitchen installation. I had a project schedule which they stuck to Trades and staff were all professional and friendly and I felt comfortable to have them in my home. The end result is great and meets my needs. I have received many compliments on my new kitchen.

Included in my completion letter from Masterfit/Alexander kitchens was an invite to review their service.

Project : Complete removal of existing bathroom/fittings/flooring and wall tiles.

Create : Brand new shower room to include corner shower/wall hung toilet incorporated in tall cabinet/basin on wall hung 2 drawer cabinet/new flooring/fully tiled.

From design to selecting the fittings and accessories, indeed the first two weeks of the project commencing, all was good.
Then my project seemed to become a 'fill in' job, no consistency when trades people would turn up!

I contacted the Director of Alexander in July 2023 to express my dissatisfaction that the project still was not complete and had been riddled with errors.

Wrong coloured flooring delivered.
White spot light fitted - should have been chrome.
Hand held shower attachment pouring out water from outlet in wall.
WC unit - LHS panel damaged.
WC unit - RHS door finish blemished.
WC unit - Both doors out of alignment.
Wall hung WC - sealant splitting.
Wall hung WC - movement when in use.
Basin Cabinet - top drawer front fixed as a panel, so no access to water isolation valves.
Basin Cabinet replacement, wrong size.
New Isolator switch for bathroom mirror fitted, but damaged wall not made good.

For a company that works with its ethos " Quality Service, Workmanship and Products across all our projects", I was surprised to read the Director's response, "I can assure you this is not normal & think you have got unlucky"

Finally, on the 21st August, all remedial works were completed, and I now have a smart looking new shower room.
But, should it really be such a lengthy, frustrating process, riddled with errors to achieve this?

There's no doubt about it, all of the people I dealt with at Masterfit/Alexander Kitchens were very pleasant, but
I couldn't help noticing with some of the trades people involved with this project, a culture of blaming others for mistakes, lack of accountability or ownership.
Surely it's better to just hold up your hand, admit the error and discuss how best to resolve things?

So, from my experience of Masterfit/Alexander Kitchens, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending them to others, or inviting them back to my home to design and fit my new kitchen.

Alexander Kitchens added several units and a central island to our kitchen. A great deal of care was taken to exactly match the units already there and the finished results is fantastic. The company is a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend them.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Had a new bathroom a few years ago and recently a new kitchen. Felt confident enough in them to go away for the first two weeks of the fitting. Any issues are promptly sorted out. Without exception the workmen and office staff are amazing. Would highly recommend this company.

Can’t say enough what a great experience we have had with Alexander (Worthing) and Masterfit. Their commitment, communication and professionalism was incredible the whole way through from design to completion. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Well organised and no extra costs. Old bathroom and rubbish cleared when we asked. Happy to make changes when necessary. Regular phone calls to check on progress. Took longer than we expected but a lovely finish. Thanks everyone.

We had two bathrooms fitted with Alexanders. Our main bathroom and our loft room bathroom. The whole experience was really stress free. All the workmen were friendly and polite and were a pleasure to have in our home. They answered any questions we had and kept us updated through each day. We also had a main contact at the office who told us who and when a workmen would be coming. The finish to the job was done to a great standard. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of our recent kitchen and bathroom installations. Alexanders were terrific all the way from initial estimate stage through to handover. All of their fitters and staff were polite, professional, and very skilled tradespeople.
We were very pleased that we asked them to carry out our work.
