A fantastic company - well priced and so helpful , I needed some contact lenses in 2 days and I managed to quickly speak to a very helpful human who sorted this. They turned up so I had contact lenses for my trip, very grateful .

I might be spoiled by competitors, but 4 days for delivery is too long. They also don't make this clear prior to ordering, and there is no way to cancel or amend your order online.

SCAMMERS. They operate under a fake address in the UK but their work is in Czech Republic. My glasses were poorly manufactured. I was told to return them for a refund. 50 days later they are still telling me they are being inspected and they won’t refund me. They are being investigated for fraud so don’t use this company.

I ordered my glasses and received them on the 10th of October. I literally couldn’t see anything with them and they obviously weren’t made according to my new eye test . I raised a complaint and returned the glasses on the 17th for re inspection. They received them on the 20th of October. I emailed few times to inquire about the progress and no one bothered to respond to my emails. we are on the 11th of October now and still nothing. I paid £150 for the glasses and still don’t have anything. I raised the issue within the 14 days refund policy and they don’t even bother to respond or deal with the matter. I will rely the matter to the trading standards as I have not received the goods I paid for and will escalate this further. My advice is to avoid at all costs unless you want to chase them endlessly. Disgraceful service.

I bought eyeglass frames and prescription lenses from this store. I wanted to return the frames because they didn't fit my face, and the lenses were uncomfortable and I couldn't see clearly with them. Before returning them, I contacted the company several times via email to explain the problem I was having with these lenses. The company insisted they don't accept returns on eyeglasses lenses. Many companies accept returns on prescription lenses without any problems, but this store insists on refusing to return defective lenses. I still returned both the frame and lenses to this store. Despite receiving the returns, the store still refuses to refund the money for the lenses. This is a victim of my injustice. This store does not care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend you reconsider your purchase before purchasing from this store.

I have made multiple orders with Alensa but unfortunately have had an issue with them not actually shipping the item a few time times. My latest order 170694463 was placed on the 29th October when the lenses were clearly listed as 'in stock ready for dispatch'. It was marked as shipped on the 30th October but 2 days after it was supposedly shipped Royal Mail still have not received it! This exact thing has happened me previously - I'm afraid that Alensa just generate a tracking number and then take forever to actually post the item. If you need lenses quickly I'm afraid Alensa isn't the way to go.

Bought a pair of Persol. Arrived super fast and well packed. Unfortunately had to return as found different pair elsewhere at the same time. The best customer service and return experience. I will be a customer next time.

This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced from any company. The arm fell off an expensive pair of designer glasses after a month (I’ve never had a pair of glasses break before because I look after them extremely well). I returned them to Alensa who confirmed in writing that the metal hinges on the glasses are bent so the screw could not sit correctly in the glasses and thus cannot hold the arm together. They stated they ‘are not sure how this is even possible as the material is all metal’ which confirms that they are clearly a faulty pair for this is to happen to them. They are not taking any responsibility for the fault and instead are blaming it on me for mechanical damage resulting from me mishandling them which is obscene when they were looked after well and the arm just randomly fell off when wearing them. They are refusing to refund the faulty glasses. I can see from other reviews that they have done this to multiple customers now so I would urge anyone thinking of ordering from them to not do so unless they want to receive faulty goods and be refused a refund. I’ve never experienced anything like this before from any company and I will be warning everyone I know to not shop with them.
