Pick up from Edinburgh airport - car late, not what I ordered so too small for party - avoid

We prearranged for a luxury 8 passenger van to pick us up at 9am from the Dover cruise terminal. When 9am passed I reached out the Airports Taxi Transfers and asked where my ride is. They started making up stories. First it was stuck in traffic, there was a big accident (no one else saw this). Then it was the van broke down but will arrive shortly. 1-1/2 hours later an old Toyota minivan showed up to take 6 passengers and luggage to the airport 1-1/2 hours away. We rode with luggage on our laps to get it all to fit.

Was traveling to Italy this summer.
The driver didn’t wait for us at the airport.
The waiting time is supposed to be 60 minutes and the driver left after 55 minutes. He didn’t even try to contact us before leaving.
The driver wasn’t answering my calls.
Worst company ever!!! Don’t book your transportation with them.
They are not honest

Pick up at the airport was okay, then the driver dropped 6km from where we were supposed to be dropped, had to get a taxi to our actual destination at a further cost of €16. Tried complaining through the proper channels but as expected nothing being done. I wouldn’t use them again.

Do not use this company in Iceland! The airport has well known delays with customs. This company takes prepayment for rides then refuses to wait past their stated time limit. Despite being in constant contact and their awareness of the customs issues at KEF, they abandoned us and are refusing to refund our prepayment. They were also quite rude during a very stressful travel day. If you are going in a cruise from Reykjavik, take the bus to the port.

Disappointing taxi transfer service
We booked taxi transfers for 3 passengers with 5 medium and 5 small pieces of luggage. Unfortunately, every taxi provided was far too small. We could only fit around 3 medium suitcases, and with three people inside, the journey was extremely uncomfortable.

We contacted the taxi company in Bali, but they explained that this was the vehicle information they had received from the airport transfer service.

When we contacted the transfer company directly, we were told that they would get back to us within two weeks. This is simply not acceptable when we are currently travelling and dealing with the problem.

We expected the vehicle we booked to be suitable for 3 passengers and our luggage. We hope the company takes this complaint seriously and provides a proper solution rather than asking us to wait two weeks.

Very disappointing experience and poor customer service. I would be happy to reconsider my review if the issue is resolved properly

Never showed up. Promised a full refund. Doesn't answer the phone, doesn't respond to emails. Would strongly warn against using this company.

Do Not recommend them atleast for Rhodes(Greece).
We had booked return private transfers with Mercedes V class to our holiday in Rhodes with Airports Taxi Transfers costing us £205(expecting smooth service). While in London Gatwick airport, we called them to notify that Our flught is delayed by anout 50 min to which they acknowledged and said no problem
We will accommodate.
Upon arival to Rhodes, the driver left us with our two little kids at the airport stranded at 1 am saying he won’t wait and it was nightmare for us last minute looking for taxi and had to pay £100.
On our return, as soon as the driver came to pick us up he mentioned he now is also going to pick two other passengers on the way, to which we questioned but this is our private transfers why would you include others? He started cooking stories that their transfers got broken down. Anyways we on the way got two other passengers and they said they never had their transfers reach to them as the company told them the car broke down. We were all scammed .
Paying high price for private transfers specifically as we family suffer from travel sickness is important for us to have our own soace hence we don’t mind paying. But the company literally robbed us with no service from airport to including others passengers on return.

Despite us contacting companymon phone we never got a reply.

Hence do kot waste your money and go through experience we had.

I have had very positive experiences with this company and generally things work out right and I get a better price. However, they out source to other companies and this means that the price can change, or the order can change as they are only a broker doing deals. This time I was charged £15 extra by the sky bridge cars for upgrading the car from an estate to a bigger car which could carry 3 people, medium sized bags and 3 carry on bags small. Should be straight forward for an estate paid extra for the upgrade. Forced to pay again by sky bridge motors as they said an estate car wasn't big enough. Guess what the driver who was charging more turned up in a prius 7 seater so got everything in but definitely not what I expected as an upgrade. I think if it is a simple trip with a couple of people and a couple of bags this company is great otherwise best to source directly. Still worth using highly recommended as a solo traveller.

I would give zero stars if possible . Avoid this taxi broker . I had Booked an 8 seater to take my family from Poole to London Gatwick . What turned up was a vehicle that could only carry a few of us . Their customer support is zero and they just blame another company for sending the wrong taxi . Avoid !!! I had to book a 2nd taxi and not to mention the stress to hopefully make it to the airport on time as had to find another taxi . No help offered at all .

Never use this company booked a few days in advance all seemed fine then a few hours before pick up they said the price had gone up so I had to pay more which I did. Then just before boarding they decided to cancel the whole transfer leaving 5 adults and 3 children on a flight not knowing what we are going to do at 2 o clock in the morning without a transfer. AVOID AT ALL COST

Our driver booked was very good and promptly picked up nd dropped off.
I would like to say a very big Thank you to Zezo. He is very good driver and punctual.

Driver details changed 10 minutes before they were supposed to show up (at 4am in the morning, so wasn't ideal for us travelling with a 5-year old child). When we called the new driver, he said he was "replacing the wheel" and would be there "in 5 minutes". We left 35 minutes late. The driver promised that it was "a small airport" (in London!) and that we "shouldn't worry about the security queue", without ever asking if maybe we needed some extra time to go through everything. But that wasn't the worst part. He broke every speeding rule out there, in a car that clearly passed the MOT on some unknown condition (THAT amount of clanking sound really made us seriously nervous at 70mph - I promise you you've only seen this in movies!) Anyway, I thanked every deity there was when we finally got to the airport, and will absolutely never use their service again. Looked like a nice high-ranked company online, but really that depends on the local sub-contractors they hire to actually drive you around. We got a seriously bad deal.

Avoid Avoid Avoid... Shocking Non service, I booked a return transfer from France, unfortunately or Eurostar time got cancelled, I rang the company 3 days prior to update them on the new pick up time, the following day I received confirmation with the new pick up time..
After I arrived in France ... No Taxi, No1 seems to inform the driver of the new time, when the driver and I made contact via WhatsApp he said call the company he's not coming, tried to call the company with the WhatsApp number given, I get a message saying 'No Calls" then I what's app saying the driver is not here, then to get blocked on WhatsApp by the company and driver, Absolutely outrageous, left stranded having to find alternative arrangements to get to our accommodation, then they email 3 days later, telling me I didn't cancel so I need to be charged !!? What for ???
Then they make an UNAUTHORIZED charge on my card, for a service they didn't provide, now have to call the bank to get my money back..
AVOID THIS COMPANY

Kind driver. Punctuality. Perfect driving. Good price.
I would recommend them.
