over the course of the last week I have been on hold for 3-4 hours at a time and not one operator has picked up. I have emailed and receive responses every 2-3 days which only half answer my questions and do not discuss options. The worst.
AVOID this merchant
AVOID this merchant! Purchased a ticket online, but unfortunately got diagnosed with COVID-19 the next day after purchasing. I tried to e-mail these guys for 3 days for a refund / cancellation - No response. I called their phone number for 3 days and waited for hours - No response. I have had to now lodge a dispute and cancel the transaction with my credit card company. What unprofessional behaviour. Ridiculous
AVOID THIS BOOKING AGENT!!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter couldnt make the return part of her flight from Costa Rica in March due to Covid restrictions, came back via Panama in the end. Iberia confrimed she would be entitled to a voucher for that part of the return flight through the Agent, you guessed it, Airfare Network. She has spent the last month trying to claim that voucher (value unknown or confrimed) to book another flight but been on hold for 50 minutes at a time and never managed to speak to any one. She has had one email from Roderick offering single flights outside her preferable time. She has to claim the voucher before the end of December and it is clear they are stalling to avoid releasing it to bank the credit from Iberia. Trully shocking oufit!!!!!!!!!!

I rate with 1 star as i am unable to use 0.
We have been waiting for over 6 months for our refund from cancelled flights. The airline ( Finnair) refunded airfare network our £1,800 a while ago but we haven't had it returned and now Airfare network don't reply to us. Shocking service.
Refusing to give a refund for cancelled…
Refusing to give a refund for cancelled flight so having to chargeback on credit card. Takes well over an hour to get through on phone lines. Scam artists. Avoid at all costs.
the worst experience with this company
the worst experience with this company! Our trip to the Sri Lanka was canceled due to covid-19, I was promised that we would receive a refund within 10.12 weeks on 14.07.2020. since then I have sent a lot of emails, someone wrote me off, but still waiting for the refund . It is now more than 14weeks. I never recommend it to anyone
This company are scammers
This company are scammers. Having our dream holiday to the Seychelles in June cancelled due to C19 we were informed by the airlines that we were entitled to a full refund but had to go through the agent we booked with. This, unfortunately, was Airfare Network (who act as a rep for Faregeek UK Ltd). Details of the 2 Directors can be found on the Companies House Beta website.
I called Airfare and was basically laughed at down the phone by one of their reps, who, after a long and shall we say heated conversation, basically told me to go away and sue them as they had no obligation to refund me. I have tried to call back several times over the last 3 months but constantly left on hold for several hours on each attempt.
After several emails (from me) and only one reply from them, I was informed that a refund would take 10-12 weeks. This time period expired at the end of August and still no communication or refund from them.
So in August I served them with a statutory demand. When the 21 days expire and if I have not received my refund then a winding up petition to the court will be made. It will probably cost me more than the flights themselves but I hope that this will put them out of business and stop them from scamming anyone else.
Sorry for the late reply but Just thought I would update this.
On the day the statutory demand expired, I, rather unexpectedly, received a full refund back to my credit card. This was a pleasant surprise but meant I couldn’t follow through and issue a winding up petition. My advice, get the directors info from companies house and serve them with a statutory demand. This is the first legal step to get your money back. Good luck all.
the worst experience with this company
the worst experience with this company! After our trip to the Maldives was canceled due to covid-19, I was promised that we would receive a refund within 6-8 weeks. Anyway, this experience happened at the beginning of April, since then I have sent a lot of emails, sometimes someone even wrote me off, but the last month the company stopped communicating with me absolutely! Nobody cares that they still owe me £ 1100 !!!!!! I never recommend it to anyone and I believe that one day we will see our money back in the bank account !!!!
I wish I could give them less than a 0
I wish I could give them less than a 0. It was horrible, I spent over 2hrs on hold 3 days in a row with no answer, no answer to my emails, no answers about flight refunds. After days of this, I decided to go directly to the airline myself to get a refund - which they had previously told me I could not do. Airfarenetwork had also told me that I could not rebook with an affiliate airline, I could not get my money back entirely and this was actually untrue. Shout out to Air France for sorting me out but Airfarenetwork was useless.
I don't know how to describe the rate…
I don't know how to describe the rate worst, terrible, really bad,my flight was cancelled and I been calling hours the last few days and nobody answer the phone also sending emails with any response and on the website says they response on 24 hours or 6 hours .......really bad service don't book your flights with this agencie
I can only reiterate the last two…
I can only reiterate the last two reviews as we have had exactly the same experience with this company. In the early days of our claim we managed to get through to the company by phone on 2 occasions. Their telephone manner is at best unhelpful and at worst very rude and frustrating. We continued our contact via email, always initiated by us, and we actually found Roderick to reply to our emails quickly and with standard courtesy but still our refund was not forthcoming. We were constantly fobbed off by this company and although we have now been refunded £900 of our original flight cost we have lost £309. This is despite having had a conversation and email confirmation from Finnair to say that we were entitled to a full refund, which we then had to sign an agreement with airfare network to say that we accepted! Since receiving this £900 refund, which has taken 15 weeks of chasing up on our part, and not the 7 days legal requirement, I have had absolutely no acknowledgment or answer to my numerous e mails as to where the rest of my refund is.
I will be getting in touch with Skyscanner in the hope that many others will also do so and we will be able to remove this company from their site.
Do not use them
Purchased flights through airfarenetwork and I had to call them several times to get the actual ticket after they took payment. This should have been the first sign of trouble. Covid hit and the airline Finnair was clear that all cancelled tickets would be fully refunded. The T&Cs at the time of booking did not clarify any “admin charges” for cancellations by the airline. After we chased them a few times, they offered us a full value credit note. We requested a full value cash refund as was our right by law. They agreed to process this for us but then sneakily deducted £299!!! This is preposterous. The cash refund should be equal to the credit note. Do not use this company. Buy direct from the airline in the future. Will be writing to the ombudsman about this.
Never use this company!
We booked flights to Thailand with Airfarenetwork in November and this was cancelled early February due to schedule changes. Finnair refunded airfarenetwork a few weeks later and despite many emails, calls and promises, we have no refund, or even replies recently.
This is with the credit card company currently, as we have proof they have received the refund and not paid it to ourselves in 4 months.
Please never, ever use this sham of a company! This is either company ineptitude at a criminal level, or an in-house choice to use the current misery to steal money from customers.
Be warned!
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
We have had a nightmare trying to get our money back from them and even had to get advice from a lawyer – If you are struggling to get your money from this company, get in contact with the airline you were meant to fly with and find out if they have refunded Airfare your money
!
We spent months calling Airfare to be told the airline hadn’t refunded it, then when contacting the airline they told us it was refunded Feb 12th! Roderick is SO rude and when I said I would report them to ATOL he said ‘ go on then’ also when asked to speak to a manager or their accounts department I was told I couldn’t. Honestly, there is nothing more soul-destroying than having to talk to Roderick who is just RUDE and unhelpful.
When they finally admitted to having our money they advised it would be refunded in 3-5 days MAXIMUM... A week went by and still no money! We were then told it would be another 3-5 days – no reply to my emails and calls, it wasn’t until I’d advised it be serving a statutory demand they returned the money. Airfare Network acts as a rep for the limited company ‘Faregeek’ you can report and demand money from a limited company that owes you over £750 and if they do not pay, you can petition to wind their company up.
Also, remember if they have kept your money for over 7 days they are in breach. I also would advise you to send an email to sky scanner complaining and advise they remove Airfare from their searches; when I’d emailed them they advised if they receive a certain amount of complaints they will look into removing Airfare from their searches.
I will include the directors' names, this shows all the companies they are directors of, and also the addresses. You can also send a demand from outside the UK – Don’t make the same mistake we did, find out from the airline if your money has been refunded, wait 7 days for them to refund it and if they don’t send the demand.
I can't post links on here but if you type in "serve statutory demand" on google you will find the form you will need to send.
Go to 'Beta companies house' and search for 'Faregeek' This will have the details on the directors and the companies they are also directors for - Details on Faregeek LTD
I will be posting this review on their Facebook page with all the links!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!
We had our flights cancelled due to Covid-19, leaving us stranded in Australia.
The customer service of Airfarenetwork was nonexistent to say the least.
They would not answer customer service tickets, hang up on you, and generally make things difficult in the hope you would give up.. We only got somewhere when we informed them that we are recording the phone call.
A few months later and we are now struggling to claim back other flights we had to book because airfarenetwork hadn't been clear with our options, they issued a false flight voucher (value of voucher is 0.00) and now insurance are asking for written confirmation of any flight voucher or refund that was available, so we are out of pocket even further.
Never book with these con men. It is criminal what they have done and we are considering our options going forward.
Lesson learnt - I will always book through the airline in future
