Devola 9000 portable Air conditioning unit
Ordered this aircon unit on 18th june and it arrived next day.
Cools our bedroom down perfectly, yes it is abit noisy but I can cope with that better than i can night sweats!

I’m delighted with my MeacoCool…
I’m delighted with my MeacoCool portable air conditioner. It was very easy to set up and the window kit is perfect for my top-hinged casement window. It is ideal for my small bedroom and discreet enough to stay for the summer! The fan is quite loud but is only a small inconvenience. Ordering was easy and delivery prompt by a most kind and helpful young man who was delighted to help my husband carry the unit upstairs.

Bought an aircon unit but it wasn’t in stock, offered an alternative unit which I accepted and then went on holiday for 2 weeks. Unfortunately the replacement unit was unsuitable for us and there returns policy is 14 days. Be mindful of the returns policy with this company when purchasing.

However, we would like to clarify that our returns policy is clearly stated prior to purchase and applies equally to all orders. As the replacement unit was accepted and retained for over two weeks whilst you were away on holiday, the request to return it was received outside of our 14-day change-of-mind returns period.
We always encourage customers to review our returns policy before purchasing, particularly if they anticipate being away or unable to inspect the product within the return window. While we appreciate that your holiday plans affected the timing, unfortunately we are unable to extend the policy on that basis.
We're pleased that we were able to offer an alternative unit when your original choice was unavailable and are sorry that it ultimately did not meet your needs.

Meaco Pro 8000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
I purchased the Meaco Pro 8000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner on pre-order a few weeks ago, ready for the next heatwave. It arrived within a week of the order, which far exceeded my expectations.
I had the chance to use the machine last night, and OMG it is brilliant. It is in a small bedroom, and it cools the air perfectly. Obviously the speed at which it can do this, depends on the temperature of the room to start with. But it definitely works. So, so much better than just a fan. You can feel the heat as you walk out of the room, and the cool when you walk in.
It's compact, so when it's not in use, it's tucked away in a corner. It is a nice design and not unattractive.
It's A star rating for the electrics. So that's a plus too.
It is heavy to lift, if you need to get it upstairs. But definitely not impossible. I'm a 63 year old woman, and I managed it! The lad who delivered it, box and all, carried it to the door!
Of course it makes a noise. It is a fan and refrigeration unit located within a small room! But that was absolutely no issue for me last night, as I use earplugs anyway to dampen other night sounds! With the earplugs in, I hardly heard it, and it was not distracting at all.
For me it's a lifesaver! I just can't sleep at night when the temperatures are high. More than three nights of no sleep turns my brain into mush.
I got the Meaco as it came out top for the portable units when I did some research. This model is perfect for my bedroom.
In short, I'm delighted, and cool!
