Dont believe the 30 day cooling off period

AGV stste a trial then they took the money while I 2was on holiday. Thats fine as I should have cancelled. However they state there is a 30 day cooling off period where they will refund. As soon as i came back i requested a refund and had to basically demand payment. Then they only refund half of your money so in the hope that you will stay if they discount instead. Its basically stealing from people who believe in the 30 day cooling off period.

Do not waste your time with this…

Do not waste your time with this company. Their website is trash. I bought a helmet and it was the wrong size because they don’t have a size chart and when I wanted to return it I couldn’t get ahold of customer support for anything. Phone numbers on their website do not work and there’s no other way to get in touch with someone who will help. Luckily I was able to sell my helmet and get my money back. Never again. You’ve been warned.

If I could give negative stars I would

If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered a helmet 4 weeks ago it’s been lost leaving their warehouse to UPS. No refund and no product. Terrible company. Looking to file an official complaint or lawsuit if anyone know how to go about this please share.

Order canceled, no refound

I ordered a sportmodular helmet for a nice discount, paid the money, received the confirmation about my order BUT 1,5 weeks later an email arrived from the company that they cancel my order as a result of the lack of stocks available. Another 1.5 week past but I still did not get the refound. Waiting a few more days and after that will contact the relevant authority. Not recommended to buy from them and zero care about the customers.

I wouldn't buy any other make. But....

I've owned numerous AGV's from a K5s, K6, Pista GP R, and most recently a K7. I personally wouldn't buy another make. The small amount of issues I have had AGV have acted quickly to rectify.
Roll on a few days, and my main issue with the K7 is that the internal padding on the back very frequently gets caught up when putting the helmet on, meaning that you have no alternative but to remove the helmet and try again. Also they have moved away from the DD fastening, in favour of a ratchet style. When riding in the rain the top vent leaks.

Don't bother wasting your money on a company who refuses to fix their mistakes

When you sell limited edition pistas for THOUSANDS of dollars, just to include an iridium visor scuffed and scratched like no other....you earn the name AGV. On top of what is now only the 2nd response I have received, I am now into the 2nd week of not using this helmet and all they tell me to do is send them the exact same photos in PDF "as requested in the previous email." Which is 100% not the case, so I provided them with a screenshot of their first correspondence, which is the exact same as their second correspondence, just lacking the PDF request. This is an absolute joke of a company. You would think someone with such a big reputation and expensive products would provide ACTUAL customer service. This is so upsetting, it isn't even funny. I will never again be buying from them if this is how they choose to handle their customers.

Total crap and a bunch of rip offs

Total crap and a bunch of rip offs! Paid £113 for a new pista visor and the clips broke sfter 4 months they won’t replace it but give me a 20% discount for my next order! Why would want to spend more money with this company to be ripped off again!
Don’t bother using agv claim to be one of the top brands yet rip you off when their clips break!
Saying it’s due to useage, sorry but my helmet isn’t going to sit indoors all the time due to worrying that a clip might break! Spent £1800 of a limited edition pista and barely had any use out of it at all!!

Top Shelf Experience

Fast shipping, great customer service. They quickly answer any questions you may have. I bought an AGV K3 helmet and it came with a pinlock. I was told by a Dainese employee that it does NOT come with a pinlock, so I wasted $40, so one star taken for that. Great helmet. I love it. Very light, very quiet. Very stable at high speeds (better than my K-6) And i LOVE the drop-down visor.

Just purchased an AGV K6

Just purchased an AGV K6. After owning numerous AGV helmets previously, most recently a K4, I have to say the quality is appalling compared to the older helmets. The decals are all lopsided and offset. On complaining to the supplier I was informed they’re all like that. Dainese customer service claim it’s “perfect” with lopsided decals. The liner in the helmet is thin and cheap. Polystyrene is clearly visible due to large gaps in the lining. The shell is also incredibly soft and scratches far too easily. But worst of all is the attitude of the customer service staff at Dainese They constantly deny responsibility for their product. I dread to think of how many corners they’re cutting during manufacturer if they have such a lax attitude to quality control.

Cheaper by the Minute

I've been riding MC's since 1984..in that time I've mainly stuck to AGV lids.
But I've recently noticed (past few years) that they've started using parts that just don't have the same build quality that I've come to love & trust - I've also noticed that AGV still insist on using the loop through helmet closure straps that are as cheap as chips & infuriatingly difficult to do up with old / cold hands!! Let's face it..who wants to spend over £150 for a bucket with a string strap? Shoei here I come '

Quality Helmets!

Not going to explain the back story. But 20 years ago their dirtbike helmets were nice, even though that wasn't their forte. They used to make nice Equestrian helmets too, WAY back in the day. Haven't worn an AGV Helmet in over 20 years, and they must have changed ownership at least two times in that period. But the helmets are definitly quality! If I was reviewing the AGV Sport racing leathers, gloves, boots and other gear besides the helmets... I would give THEM 5 stars! They are probably the most durable leathers you can buy! I am biased though. But the helmets are nice!

AGV Crash helmet spares.

Sorry to say this but purchased a MDS MD200 Modular crash helmet made by Agv this helmet is just over one year old the Visor operating mechanism is now broken fair enough get new part for Helmet not so easy now obsolete they say at AGV.
This helmet is still on sale at retailers.
So you would have thought AGV would still be supplying parts for it which they are not.
Be aware when purchasing AVG Crash helmets. They do not carry spare parts for them for long. So in fact they really aren't worth buying.

Bought a Corsa R helmet for which you…

Bought a Corsa R helmet for which you pay a good price. On third trip (10th day use) the visor lock broke while riding on the german autobahn. Should not happen. Contacted AGV customer care two times. No response after a week and you can't call them. I guess they are very confident about their product. So it's good to advertise "customer care", but why bother spend time on it? I didn't expect AGV to be so arrogant, but they are just cashing out on their brand.

Purchased a GP TECH five continents admittedly from Hein Gericke which no longer exists, but with not a lot of usage it is from the inside falling to bits, not what you'd expect from a top of the range crash helmet. Emailed the AGV customer service which is in Italy but no response at all!
