Difficult customer service

One of the blinds I ordered was the wrong size. I double checked my order which had the correct size, the sticker on the blind had a different measurement. Should be easy enough, they have their "guarantees" if it's their mistake. I ended up going around and around with the one person who is their customer service. They wouldn't admit the mistake, even with photos showing the correct/incorrect measurements, but agreed to remake it for a cost of $25. The whole thing ended up being such a waste of time and I gave up which is probably what they want anyway. Don't recommend, plenty of other options out there.

Not a trust worthy vendor, no transparency on your orders, be careful

Shipping takes 15-20 days, and you can't cancel until after 20 days if you haven't received an item.

I ordered 1 roller shade and got notified it was shipped via FedEx on 5/9, then the status stays at "label created" until 5/13, then I reached out to the customer support, and the customer support told me it was shipped on 5/9 and FedEx takes 1-5 days to update the status. Then I reached out again on 5/16, and they say now it could take 10 days because shipping all over the US has "internal issues" (?) and they just got notified last night after I pointed multiple times you kept changing the shipping time.

The best part is the order is shipped from San Diego to the Bay area and it took more than 5 days to get any status update after they claimed it's shipped.

Buyer Beware

I spent over $200 for a shade which is still not functional.Trying to hang the window treatment was been nothing short of a nightmare.

The design is ridiculous for an outside mount relaxed Roman shade.

We could not even use the screws provided because there was barely space between the top of the head rail and the ceiling - we had to use a special drill bit and a wrench to get the screws into the head rail.

There were two pieces for cord on the back of the fabric just hanging - they were not attached to anything at the bottom - there was NOTHING in the directions about this. I had to do a general Google search to figure out what to do with the pieces. The directions for the tension device cannot be followed because there is no toggle switch on it.

We basically have a piece of fabric hanging down over the window that cannot be raised.

We have window treatments throughout our house and this is by far the WORST design I have ever seen. We have spent $200 and do not have a functional window treatment. I received one call back and was supposed to be emailed a video on how to install the tension device. I have received nothing. Three emails have been sent and two messages voicemails have been left. No response.

A very DISAPPOINTED customer.

After waiting weeks for my blinds to…

After waiting weeks for my blinds to arrive
i finally got an answer that one size i wanted wasn’t available
so i figured out how to solve it
after four phone call to customer service asking them to call me (they never returned the calls) i finally got to talk with Fred
He was no help at all all he could say was he understood but he was not authorized to solve the problem
he wanted me to send an email
i didn’t want to do that because they claimed they sent emails that i never recieved
so he wanted me to text
i told him i wanted to speak to someone who had authority to answer my questions
i followed he directions and sent them a text of my needs
i got an email back can canceling my entire order that i had been waiting to receive
i have asked them for a copy of that transaction and still do not have one

Fixed issue with initial order

Update:
The company contacted me and offered to remake the shades with the proper reverse roll option. The shades were an upgrade from the original ones I received. Hopefully they'll remove the reverse roll option from the items where it isn't available so someone else doesn't run into the same problem in the future.

Original:
I ordered three of their Blackout Roller Shades from their website. For all three shades, I specified the Reverse Roll option for a cleaner look, at a surcharge of $5. I received the blinds two weeks after placing the order and following the install instructions for reverse roll. When I tried to mount the shade, I realized that they screwed up all three shades and did a standard roll instead of reverse. They supposedly have a "100% Worry Free Fit Policy", so I contacted their customer support. They claimed that the Reverse Roll option wasn't available for the shade I ordered. What a bunch of BS! All that needs to be done is the fabric mounted to the core on the opposite side. Instead of offering to remake the shades, they offered a $25 refund. Oh, so generous of them, lol. Whomever they have working in production obviously doesn't care about following instructions and just does whatever to get the order out the door. Definitely won't be buying from this excuse of a company again.

AB is the best

Affordable Blinds is the best in my experience. I just covered all of my windows with blinds ordered from AB. They're the most reasonably priced, they have a great variety, and the blinds arrived quickly. I don't know how they do it at these prices, but I'm very grateful that they do.

These guys were 1/2 the price of…

These guys were 1/2 the price of blinds.com and several other blinds companies for the same product. Product came and was simple to install. The shade was a special order due to the 103 inches width. Works and looks great.

Blinds cancelled after three weeks.

Ordered blinds 29 May 24 and paid in full. On 21 Jun 24 the ordered was cancelled. No contact from the company or reason. Buyer beware.

Great product but VERY VERY POOR Shipping experience

Affordable Blinds product we have used is pretty good and their lifetime warranty is good.

We ordered blinds from them in Feb 2024 and they were scheduled to be delivered on 28Feb2024 but they were delivered to a wrong address by FedEx. The delivery picture taken by the FedEx did not show where the products were delivered. We contacted FedEx about this and they directed us to the shipper (Affordable Blinds). After talking with Affordable they requested a fee for rerouting which we paid. However, we were told that FedEx couldn’t reroute. I suppose because FedEx couldn’t find the products.

I am not glad that Affordable accepted FedEx claim that they couldn’t reroute given the fact the delivery pic did not show where the products were delivered.

Affordable should press FedEx for more information about where the driver delivered the products.

As at the time of this review, our products are missing and may not be found.

Ordered a light-filtering solar roller…

Ordered a light-filtering solar roller shades for 1 small and 2 large windows of my west-facing sunroom. Easy to install mounting hardware… did it myself in 40 minutes for 3 windows! Highly recommend Affordable Blinds to my family, friends, and other buyers.
