My flight experience was amazing & very informative, the pilot was great & reassuring yet also funny & great at giving us all confidence & saying well done. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Easy to get to. Good communication and correspondence. The tutor was extremely good and made my son and myself at ease and enjoy the morning.

Booked the helicopter flight for my son as a birthday present.I dont particulary like flying but went along with him . I LOVED IT from start to finish everyone was lovely .all ground staff were knowledgable and put people at ease.Gave great information on what we needed to know re flight.Tom our pilot was lovely very informative on what we were seeing .came home and told my husband i want to do another one.

On Monday 6th October, I had a 30 minute helicopter flight with Pilot Dom, from Redhill Aerodrome.
The trip was well organized and all safely checks and advice was given.
I had upgraded to sit next to the pilot, and was so pleased I did.
The views especially over the River Thames and London were incredible, with all the famous sights being pointed out.
The whole experience was such a thrill, and if you like me have a fascination with helicopter’s, it’s a real must.
There is parking, a lovely cafe, with yummy food and drinks.
Before you board the helicopter, photo’s are taken and these are ready to view and buy, if you wish, after you land. Money going to Air Ambulance.
The headsets you get to wear are a bonus as you hear the air traffic control, throughout the flight, which I found added to the experience.
I will definitely be booking again !!!!

Amazing afternoon, well worth every penny.
3 hours with an experienced bird handler, the variety of birds we handled and flew was amazing, I would recommend this to anyone, either as a gift or for yourself.

Awesome flight thanks to the pilot staff friendly 👏 weather was good on the day would recommend anyone to do it.

I attened my Falconry experience birthday gift last Saturday; the day of the high winds; courtesy of storm Amy. Therefore it was impossible to witness those magnificent, beautiful birds in full flight outside. Instead the event was held in a church. Nonetheless, this confined space did not diminish the awe; wonder and majesty of the six amazing birds on display. Their owner and handler Tony gave our group an extremely knowledgeable, and most entertaining talk on the history of falconry; the breeds of birds on display, and insight into their care and training to becoming a falconry bird. Demonstrations and short flights of the birds were possible; some with audience participation; and later everyone in the group had the opportunity to "handle"the birds, and videos/photographs were encouraged throughout the event.
Myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the whole three hour experience, and thank Tony and Tom for allowing us the honour to be so close to such beautiful and amazing creatures.
I will certainly book another falconry experience, when; hopefully; our British weather will allow an outdoor event to take place.

The helicopter ride with Captain Joseph Riley . was really great !
He was friendly & gave guidance of places where & what they were.The ground staff was very friendly & explaining what was gonna be happening & helpful.

Booked a 15 min flight for son's 21st. Flight was great, ground crew very safety concious. However, next day I was horrified to see a review on their website purporting to be from my son; he hadn't written one. They are not contactable by 'phone, only a form on the website and they type the answers back (!) and I was told that this 'review' was generated by me clicking on a smiley icon on the booking form (which I did as son had enjoyed the flight.) Apparently, if I had used a mobile 'phone, it would have been clear that a review would be generated but not on a laptop, which I'd used. Is it legal for a company to write and publish a review and attribute it to a customer when it's actually faked? Updated after VERY late response from Adventure 001 - NO I was not given this option! When I complained over the 'phone, your own agent informed me that this was only available on a mobile and I was using a laptop. I DID NOT agree in any way to that review!!!!!!

An amazing 3 hour experience. Close up contact, with 6 birds of prey, each one was different and special. Barn owl, African spotted eagle owl, American bald eagle, kestrel, Harris hawk and a white faced owl........ I was listening! The group of 30 was manageable. Lots of detailed information with plenty of opportunity for personalised questions and photo opportunities with each bird.. Sadly, I didn't get the falconers name but she was brilliant 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great central location at the kings arms coggeshall. The pub was very obliging with toilets and coffee hot chocolate and snacks to buy in a break. 5 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ to them too.

Will visit the animal sanctuary at some point.

We had a fantastic morning for the falconry experience . We saw several owls fly and then the best part was getting to hold a few and also a balde eagle - incredible. Our handler had exceptional knowledge. What an excellent event would recommend.

I had a flight bought for me as a 60th birthday present and got to take it yesterday. Oscar , our pilot for the day was great. I paid the extra for a front seat and it was well worth the extra .
Big thank you to Oscar and all the ground crew who made it a wonderful day.

Title: 80th Birthday Celebrated in the Air

What an absolutely fantastic 80th birthday present for my hubby a helicopter flight from Dunkeswell Aerodrome with Adventure 001! From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth, professional, and so memorable. The team on the ground were friendly and reassuring, putting my husband completely at ease before take-off.

Once in the air, the views were simply breathtaking – a totally different perspective on the countryside we thought we knew so well. The pilot was brilliant too, pointing out landmarks and making the experience fun and personal. My husband came back with the biggest smile on his face and said it was one of the best birthday gifts he’s ever had.

The only tiny hiccup was that in all the excitement, he forgot to collect his complimentary bubbly afterwards – but that didn’t take away from the sheer thrill of the day. A truly unforgettable way to mark a milestone birthday – highly recommended!

I had a fantastic experience doing my helicopter trip around Cumbernauld. All staff and pilot were very friendly, professional. Beautiful sunny day with breathtaking views. Would highly recommend. 😎🚁

My partner and I went on the Bird experiance and found it a fun and informative morning

My Partner, Gary and I travelled to Bledlow Ridge on 20th September 2025, to take part in the Falconry Day Taster Experience, organised through Adventure001.co.uk. The lady who brought the birds and held the event, was supremely knowledgeable and answered any questions with ease. She made the entire event very entertaining. She brought 6 beautiful birds with her; Burrowing Owl, Kestrel, Harris Hawk, Chilean Eagle, Barn Owl and a Turkey Vulture. Due to the very windy weather, which was not ideal for flying the birds, we did however see the Barn Owl in tethered flight, which was wonderful, albeit short. Every person had the opportunity to handle all of the birds which made the experience up close and personal. We also witnessed the lady feeding the birds, which was really interesting. It was incredible to see these beautiful birds at such close proximity. The only thing that let the event down, was the high wind on the day. This is something that the lady falconer of Herring's Green Activity Centre, dealt with incredibly well and the one thing that was paramount importance, was the welfare of the birds that she brought with her. All in all, an incredible experience and we both would highly recommend the event to anyone. We plan on taking a trip to the centre in the new year. Fantastic!

I was given a helicopter experience as a birthday present and although I was a little daunted, I had an amazing time at Nottingham Heliport. Everyone was very helpful and kind; the pilot explained the health and safety, the controls and the procedure so I was totally relaxed. He was calm, patient and reassuring so I can only say, thank you and I will certainly suggest this experience to all my grandchildren (they are adults).

The variety of birds of prey was a real surprise- 6. Also the fact that we could all hold the birds and even feed a couple makes for great photo opportunities. Only negative was how large the group was. With everyone wanting a go with each bird - it can get a bit tedious waiting around. But patience is a virtue as they say and this was a gift for my husband and he absolutely loved it.

What an experience!!! Staff were friendly and informative, great communication on the lead up to the flight and an unbelievable experience once up in the air. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!!!

It was the last day of summertime when I booked my helicopter flight. Couldn’t have been better… the staff were professional and caring, the pilot, Tom, was a great inspiration… I decided to make the most of it with the front seat option … the views were amazing!! The greens- oranges and browns of the Peak District were beautiful for the time of year… I imagine the different seasons bring a different perspective each time- it makes you appreciate the landscape.
The flight was smoother than I expected and a great experience.. I was still buzzing days afterwards!! Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
