I booked Adrenalinatours for transportation from the airport in Guatemala City to Antigua (private), Antigua to Panajachel (shuttle), and back to the airport (private). I was expecting much better service for the price that I paid. Our private transport from the airport was in a small, hot, stuffy car. It was very hot with mostly nonfunctional air conditioning. The shuttle ride to Antigua was uneventful, but the person picking us up was very abrupt with us and other passengers, rushing us onto the shuttle, arguing with passengers, and just very rude. The private transportation back to the airport was also in a car without working seatbelts, which was very concerning considering how dangerous people drive. We had a fender bender accident on the way to the airport, and we did not feel safe during that ride. The private transport drivers were both courteous and accommodating, but for the price of transport we expected better quality vehicles that were fully functional and safe. The three stars are only for our ultimate safe arrival and the courtesy of the private transport drivers.

Trip from Antigua to Xela was supposed to take app. 3,5 horas, and ended up taking 5,5 ..mostly because driver was late, and then spent 1,15 hour driving around Antigua to pick people up. He ended leaving Antigua basically driving by the spot he picked us up 1,15 hours before. Also, shuttle was too small for the number of people crammed inn.
