Friendly and easy to deal with during reservation. Shuttle pick up and drop off was good. Recommend getting getting small SUV if you plan to explore off major roadways. Only down side is the rental is very expensive in Costa Rica.
There were no hidden fees with adobe.
We had our own insurance but you do have to pay 3rd party liability which was included.
Be aware of cheap prices online.

We got charged for a dent in the car so we had to pay 250$. The dent was there a the start and the promised that in was noted on the papers the took from us…..

We lost a lot of time at the departure at Restaurante El Ceibo because the check in was not well organize. We were the least to leave from the park. The agent was very kind and it was not his fault but our Travel agency and Adobe could think a different process. All the services during our journey were ok even when we had a trouble not for our own fault Adobe solve even if it happened January 1st. Don’t forget to choose the full insurance option. Adobe Liberia Airport Top Notch!
We rented an SUV from Adobe through their Liberia airport site. Having rented from many agencies in various companies, we felt compelled to send our review. Our experience with Adobe was top notch. It began with the arrival at the airport, where we were greeted by the agent and delivered to the car rental site afew miles away. Entry into the office, where an agent was already assigned and waiting. We were warmly greeted and after brief but efficient paperwork, led outdoors to our waiting vehicle. The inspection had been done in advance so it was a quick review to be certain we were satisfied, and we were on our way. The little extras, affiliated with our booking agent, “My Tan Feet” included a small cooler and a Sim Card for my phone.
So very appreciated.
The car was superb throughout our stay.
Our return of the car was rapid and efficient. Paperwork and communication was very clear and seamless.
The shuttle was waiting to take us to the airport and our emailed confirmatory invoice arrived in our inbox before our short drive was complete.
We are returning to Costa Rica in early 2027 and will definitely be booking our car rental again through Adobe.
An excellent experience! Definitely 5 star performance by this Liberia staff and the Adobe company.

Since our arrival at aeroport, the transfer to the office and pick up the car it tooks only about 45 minutes. During our stay in Costa Rica, Marco and Karen always care about us, simple by send a email or a message, to know if we need something during the travel.

Adobe has been great every time we use them in Costa Rica. Their cost is upfront including insurance wiht is required by CR government. Everyone was great, courteous, on the ball and Polite! Had a spare tire issue (long story) they fixed it right up and switched us cars in minutes. Very helpful and made it easy and eorry free. I do recommend getting for coverage.

Costa Rica's car rental company does it right
Car pickup and dropoff very quick and easy. Staff very helpful. No hidden charges (I did buy their comprehensive insurance plan and would recommend doing the same if you are a foreign visitor to CR). A very easy experience
Just a very easy experience, picked me up at the San Jose airport at like midnight and drove me to their office, 20 minutes later I was driving on my way to the hotel. Less than $460 for 9 days with a 4x4 vehicle. Highly recommended
