Terrible service

Terrible service. They deceive people by claiming it is a financing agreement, but they end up charging nearly triple the initial value; furthermore, they enforce contracts that they never show you—and that you never signed.

Deceptive and predatory

Their deceptive, predatory, and confusing language is meant to trap people into extraordinarily high payments and fees. You pay taxes on every payment and pay a fee to pay off the total amount. I was not given all the information, was led to this shady loan shark service when I thought I was getting a store credit card, and was stuck because I signed. I will never do business them or with any company who offers this service.

When I went into the store to purchase …

When I went into the store to purchase my furniture I was told that my payment was going to be around 200 a month and when I checked my payment they went up to 640.00 dollars a month you talking about upset i was I called them and told them that’s not what I signed up for and they told me it wasn’t anything they can do bad business.

Acima is nothing but gangster charging extremely interest rates, they should be ashamed of themselves and...well I really can't tell what should happen to every employee there...but you can read between the lines, I would never in a million years recommend these pathetic losers

I always payoff my loan within 90 days! Need a prequalified Acima credit card

This will make it five star…
I am consistently approved for loans exceeding $2,000. Obtaining a $2,000 Acima credit card, which would have a credit limit of this amount, would be much more advantageous and convenient for me. Instead of going through the process of applying for a new loan each time I need financing—knowing that I am always approved for over $2,000 and that I typically pay off my loans in full within 90 days—a credit card would streamline my purchases and financial management. It would provide me with immediate access to funds up to $2,000 whenever I need them, without the repeated application process, and help me manage my expenses more efficiently.
I kindly request that you send me a prequalified credit card with a limit of $2,000 or more to facilitate my continued purchases through Acima.

I was tricked into leasing the phone

I was tricked into leasing the phone. I was told one thing and it was something else entirely. I was told I only had to pay four hundred and something but I do $54 payments and then pay the rest in October 2025. The only reason I didn't cancel is because I couldn't afford to due to needing it for work. I have been struggling with the payments in these past months. I hate I had to put up with this for almost a year.

Ridiculous had this company for years…

Ridiculous had this company for years then went to try to apply for a few companies they offer and wanted me to re verify who I was so just paid this off and probably done with the company

Really would be 0 stars if I could! Worst experience ever. Will charge you fees saying nsf when definitely not the case.. purchase was 298 ended up paying 429 for a week

financing here is outrageous

when I got the lease I was told acima was 90 days same as cash financing. The total at check out was $4,199. when I went to pay it off there was an option to pay it all for $4,350 so I clicked on that and it jumped up to $4,734 they charged a loan origination fee along with a lease purchase fee and taxes. Also, if it was not paid within the 90 days it would cost over $9,000 for the lease... their financing is outrageous

This Acima is a rip off if you don’t pay same as 90 days the price of your item doubled I will never use you people ever again I will stick to zip by weekly payments with zero interest I don’t know why your interest rate so high

I never received one of my items and…

I never received one of my items and the loan was never updated to reflect the real amount. I have called several times, used the chat, and emailed with no resolution. I missed one payment on my loan and my phone received several phone calls and voicemails and also emails to resolve the issue. Still no response to my money that I have not received yet. It’s been months since I’ve been waiting for my refund but several hours into missing a payment and the communication was nonstop.

My purchase for 2 glasses has been a horrible experience

My purchase for 2 glasses was a great sale for $455, however there was an option to pay it off using Acima. Most credit card and leasing companies give you a year to pay off. Well these disgusting scum predators took $47.89 every 2 weeks. So, what should have been $455, is now $800. I called Acima, and they said I still owe $335. These people have no shame or guilt. But that's ok, there's a special place in hell for them
