Basically the worst company by far I've interacted with.
I ordered and paid for a VPS, 10 days later it is not up and running, team won't answer to any of my tickets. There are tons of providers out there who care about their clients.

As a Canadian, I prefer to host in Canada; I understand the laws here, I like to support Canadian businesses for my personal projects, and I would rather not give my $$$ to some faceless American big tech cloud provider. And Accuris ticks all of those boxes. The backups are a nice extra, but keep your own; don't overly trust them. The speed is excellent, you get and can use what you pay for, the control panel works fine, and I've never had issues with billing or provisioning.

HOWEVER! The company seems to be run more like a hobby than anything. When things break, they will be fixed...eventually. The automated VPS backup system sometimes just fails for days or weeks on end, with no explanation, before it suddenly starts working again. Sometimes there are periods of downtime, but the network status page is never updated, and nothing is ever communicated to customers. As I right this, we're in hour five of an outage, but the network status page claims everything is fine, and the last announcement is about maintenance in May 2023. Support tickets go unanswered, even during business hours. I assume because Accuris is a small company, and they're busy fixing the problem. But I've had to spend the entire afternoon communicating to my users that "Yes, it's down. No, I don't know why. No, I don't know when it will be back."

For a set of free, hobbyist projects, this is sort of vaguely acceptable. But if I was taking money in any way (even running a Patreon or asking for donations), I couldn't use Accuris. I certainly wouldn't trust them with an actual business.

Thankfully, these mystery downtimes only seem to happen once or twice a year. But when they do, don't expect an ETA when your service will be restored, or an update on the network status page, or a post-mortem, or...anything at all, really. I've been with Accuris long enough that I have faith it'll get fixed at some point, probably.

TL;DR: if, like me, you run servers for fun and to control your own data, and you don't like the tech monopolies, give Accuris a try. It's better than running a server in your basement (something I did for too many years). If your running a professional business, probably find somewhere else.

I had a terrible experience with Accuris Hosting.
On June 5th, 2024, I found myself unable to log into my account, and my server was offline.
Despite reaching out immediately, I received no response.

On June 6th, 2024, Peter Potvin, responded, claiming my account was terminated due to impersonating a financial institution, which is completely false.
I resell VPS services. I was not notified of this action, and all my clients' servers were taken offline without any warning or proper investigation.

Even after clarifying the situation on the same day, I still received no further communication from their support team. As of June 10th, 2024, I have yet to get any response to my tickets.

Accuris Hosting's handling of this situation was utterly unprofessional. Their support is incompetent and unresponsive.
Deleting everything without proper notice and leaving clients stranded is unacceptable. I highly advise against using their services. Avoid Accuris Hosting at all costs!

Absolutely thrilled with Accuris! I've been using their VPS services for a while now, and I couldn't be happier. The performance is outstanding—my VM loads incredibly fast, and I've never experienced any downtime. Their customer support is top-notch, always responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever I have questions or need assistance. I got a VPS from Accuris Hosting and tried to pay with my card but it failed because it was flagged for fraud, their support fixed it and even gave me a free BGP session for compensation! I recommend Accuris for hobbynets and network operators of any size!

Accuris Hosting is definitely a hosting company that I would recommend to somebody looking for some affordable hosting with good performance and good uptime. I've held off on writing this review for a while so that I could just make sure that there were no issues, and I really am surprised. Whenever you go to a new hosting company now, they either shut down in a month or cheap out on everything, but that's not Accuris. Accuris has consistent uptime, fast support, and amazing speeds. I run multiple applications on my VM and do not experience any slowdowns or hiccups. I have daily backups, which is a really nice feature when you run databases on it.

TL;DR
Accuris Hosting is a 10/10 host that beats the market by a long shot. It's affordable, reliable, and quite speedy.

Choosing Accuris for my northern NA-North VM was a good choice. From the simplicity of his panel, to the automated and fast provisioning, Peter really has built a great platform. Additionally, his latency is really low to the NYC-metro (where I am based) and the speeds max out my residential pipe.
