Thank you for the help getting a walking stick ‘ which was suitable for my needs . Very friendly Dean helped me , will definitely return if I need anything else

We have always had very good help from all staff , Megan was very helpful with my mother in law who is in her 90. She showed us all the walkers for my mother in law to use, they always helpful and nothing to small for them to do for you. We have always use s them when we need anything. A full 100/100 to them.😀

We are the new comers to UK. One of the side-guards of my sister’s power wheelchair was found loose and we didn’t know how to get the repair service. Luckily I do remember Ableworld. I had a very pleasant experience when I bought a walker for my sister at Ableworld last few months. With the professional advice that was given by Peter, my sister got a very useful walker. Therefore I went to Ableworld and sought for advice from Peter on 20 February. Peter arranged a staff to fasten the side-guard onto my sister’s power wheelchair immediately and didn’t charge me a penny. I wish to thank all the staff who are working in that shop. They all give us a very warm service.

I had a puncture this morning and was stuck in merryoak this morning ,rang ableworld spoke to Geff he was so polite and helpful 15 mins a van and a lovely member of staff Dean took my scooter and offered me a lift ,bless them ,two hours later phone call to say my mobility scooter had been done great service brilliant staff so grateful to them

I work for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and needed to assess one of my dogs in training to see if he would cope in a home with a stairlift. I explained this to a man on the phone who told me we'd be welcome to visit, and once we arrived, Dean listened to what we needed and kindly demonstrated a stairlift for us so that I could video the dog's response. Thanks to this kindness & understanding, I can now look to place our Hearing Dog with a client with mobility issues. Great service - even though we weren't strictly customers! Thank you.

If you have elderly parents, entering their world of increasing frailty and loss of mobility is pretty scary. What you really need is somewhere like this! Staff who are patient, understanding, and go out of their way to help you choose the right product(s). Have always been impressed with Ableworld. Recently parents moved into residential care and we were at a loss to think of who might help us move their 2 riser/recliner chairs. One email to Ableworld Woolston solved it. For a reasonable price they could do the removals, including another item for no extra cost. The guys turned up promptly, packed and unloaded the other end and set up the chairs in their new location. Could not have asked for more - thank you Dean and colleague!

I have used Ableworld in Woolston, Southampton a lot over the last few years and I can’t sing the staffs praises highly enough. I visited them with my partner and her elderly mother who has dementia to look at wheelchairs. Dean was wonderful. He was very professional, offering great advice in a caring way without any pressure. I think we were in the shop for over an hour and although we identified the perfect wheelchair for her she just couldn’t make a decision due to her dementia. I am sure we will be back for it when she can commit to it. We wanted to make the decision for her but it would have stressed her more. The only thing we bought was a £3 tool to help doing up buttons. It certainly won’t be Dean’s biggest sale of the day but my partner and I would give Dean a 10 star review if we could. i went into buy a mobility scooter in ableworld woolston southampton. dean explained everything perfectly and set up the perfect bundle of the things i needed. also the other man sorry i forgot your name helped and delivered the same day. thank you so much for your help and for helping pick the right one for me

We have been using ableworld for our elderly mother for a few years now having a stair lift fitted (having to have it taken out due to flood in house and then reinstated) we have bought a number of things in which to aid our mother to live in her own home we find every member of staff extremely helpful and would thoroughly recommend ableworld woolston

technical mind explaining things for my simple mind, I had some queries about some equipment to help with stairs and I am NOT technically minded at all. Dean Rofe was a lad who put it in a way I could understand and put me at ease with what i need to discuss with family - definately gonna grab him when I come back to buy - good kid

I brought my Grandmother into the Southampton Branch as she was having issues with getting out of her chair which was very low down and she struggled daily. We thought we would take a trip to this branch whilst we was in the area visiting relatives, So see what we could get to help her, upon arrival we was greeted with a smile and Friendly man - Dean. He showed us both and discussed the option for my Grandmother. She sat in each chair and showed her how each one worked. There was a really lovely selection of chairs which to help my really fussy grandmother to pick from. Dean was exceptional and even offered us a hot drink which was well needed on a cold day. Thank you to Dean what a lovely man to help us both. We will be using Ableworld again in the future.

I have now dealt with Dean a few times during my research to find the right product. He has been most helpful each time - Polite, listening to my requirements and able to recommend or talk through the best solution. Would absolutely recommend Dean. 5 Stars!!

I was having issues of wetting myself embarrassingly while out and about and sore Ableworld may be able to help. I was a little embarrassed to go, but I must say young Dean at the southampton branch put me right at ease. He talked me through what they had and recommended the disposable briefs and some pads to help me when I fall short. He put me at ease wearing this kind of thing, as jokingly or not he said he wears them on a night out. But seriously very professional and made a very uncomfortable old man feel at ease so thank you Dean - I will be back.

We had brilliant service from Dean at Ableworld, from the first phone call in the morning to the service we received when we got there; he was friendly and polite. Dean told us what days & times he would be available to repair my Dad’s wheelchair and was able to fix it whilst we waited. The other lady on the shop was very friendly as well but unfortunately I didn’t get her name.

Replacement seat needed for a relative's mobility scooter. First class attention from polite, professional staff (Asst Mgr Peter) at Woolston, Southampton branch. Good communication at every stage of the process.
