Unfortunately, I needed to cancel my order due to a delay in shipping of the fixture. Kollyn from Customer Service was extremely helpful, and a refund was issued promptly. I would definitely due business with them again.

BOUGHT (2x) PROGRESS LIGHTING MFR SKU: P5737-31 outdoor fixtures through 1800-Lighting
Very Disappointed to find out the “Black Finish” was black plastic and the “Clear Beveled Glass”… was Clear plastic. When searching light fixtures I used black metal in the filters and when this fixture appeared in the advertisement there was no mention whatsoever about being plastic or even NON-Metallic. Hell, even the cap screws were plastic and they were too short to tighten the back plate to the wall! I had to use shims!
I would have never bought these fixtures if I knew they were plastic and had I known these were plastic, I would have never paid the ridiculous price I did.
Storm took out my old lights so these will have to do while I find a couple of decent quality metal replacement fixtures that by the way, will NEVER be manufactured by Progress Lighting. That bridge is burned and Progress Lighting will never see one thin dime from me ever again.

Great customer Service in addition to price
I have used Capitol Lighting for many fixtures in 5 major renovation projects over the past 3 years. It is not unusual to receive damage products or have issues with a faulty product (especially the more advanced dimmable LED fixtures). What o appreciate when buying through Capitol is they are quick in coordinating a resolution and good at communicating the resolution plan in a timely manner. I usually get better pricing through Capitol, but it is the customer service I appreciate most.

I bought a fan on clearance thinking that I was getting a good deal and I am saving some money, this was bought in August of this year. Now I find out that the receiver is not working properly call them up and they said there is no manufacturer warranty because this was a open box return. So I go to there website and look at clearance items and none of this is mentioned, not that this was a return and somebody had this before me.no warranty just ALL SALES ARE FINAL. But they advertise clearance items as NOTE: This is a CLEARANCE item. Product is in as-new condition. All clearance sales are FINAL and quantities are limited to stock on hand. This is directly from there site now they want me to buy$$ the defective part. My recommendation is not buy anything from these crooks. They are deceiving the public and if I can give 0 stars I would. Just to mention even customer service agent was rude.
No inventory control
Lights were in stock when we ordered. Then back order, then multiple delays. Never a word of update from them, and 'oh well' attitude when we check on status

I just purchased a 60 inch fan from 1800 lighting. I didnt get a confirmation right away so I went on the online chat. The guy had my info pulled up and squared me away in literally seconds. Super nice amd super fast. I will update this review if something happens with the shipment but so far I'm extremely happy.
I ordered a mirror on July 8th
I ordered a mirror on July 8th, I received it month later broken and the company asked me to ship the broken mirror anyway and FedEx it is not shipping a broken mirror to them because it’s damage. I have been dealing with this since July and it’s now almost September. I do not recommend customer service sucks.

Waiting for a chandelier I ordered over 2 months ago. They never communicate with me about delays in shipping, I have to call and ask every time. It has been delayed 3 times with zero communication from 1800 Lighting. I highly recommend using another company to avoid this unnecessary stress, I wish I had.
I should have heeded the bad reviews
I should have heeded the bad reviews. Ordered a fixture from them and when we opened the box one of the glass panels was completely smashed - and I don't mean broken in transit, as it looked like the glass had gone through a grinder the pieces were so tiny. Company wouldn't help order a replacement part. Terrible service.

I have been dealing with the store in…
I have been dealing with the store in Stuart Florida and in particular the customer service rep Kaitlin Booe. From day one since Sept. 2022 I have received numerous fixtures I did not order. Kaitlin does not return e mails since for two months she could not get the order correct. It seems they are unable to look at the paid sales order ticket and ship the customer what they paid for and ordered.
Company is horrible
Company is horrible! Would not use them for anything! Placed an order in June and it is now mid November and no sign of my items and zero communications despite my desperate attempts to get info.
What an absolute horror show they are and hopefully people see this before even thinking of dealing with them.

Very helpful customer service and fair pricing
I wanted to update my home and needed 8 ceiling fans. They were always quick on the phone or chatting, and helped with choosing the fans, which rods, which remotes-everything! Then I had one remote not being used and they were easy to work with regarding the return. I also believe I got the best fans for the best price. I recommend them!
Bad Communication
Ordered lighting 7/22. Back order date keeps getting pushed back with ZERO communication from Capitol. Now the ship date has been pushed to 9/26. I work in customer service as my profession and communication is key for a successful client relationship. They have zero communication skills. Would not order from them again.
