False advertising and poor service

False advertising for a start. Pay nothing until February is a lie; what it actually means is that don’t have a joining fee. You still have to pay for a month’s membership straight up. Neither did they disclose that for your first visit, you will need to speak to a member of staff and receive a fob. This is only available 9:00-9:00 Monday through Friday despite signing up on a Saturday. So I now have to wait until Monday until I can even access the centre. This was only mentioned in their initial email which went into my spam. Nothing on their website discloses this procedure and I was only informed once I had started the contract with them. Incredibly poor service from the off.

Hi Oliver, apologies, there's obviously been a miscommunication here.

The payment you made when signing up was indeed for February, meaning that you didn't have to pay anything for the rest of January.

The reason this payment was taken straight away is because our payments go out on 1st of each month and due to the date you signed up, there wouldn't have been enough time to get the direct debit authorised and in place ready for the 1st.

There should've been a link on the welcome email for you to get your Face ID setup manually so I apologies that this wasn't the case any will look into what the issue was.
