This company follows the law by the letter and has zero understanding or flexibility for accidental and honest mistakes.
We parked at Flottsbro with our newly replaced vehicle and accidentally paid for the parking on the registration number of our old vehicle rather than the new one.
We were fined 500kr. We wrote to them and said we were happy to pay for the fine, but requested that at least we could be refunded for the parking fee seeing as we made an honest mistake. We sent them several forms of evidence to show that we had recently changed cars and that the new car was the one parked at the lot, even though we had paid for the old one which is currently out of traffic.
They responded with legal references demanding that we need to pay for both the parking and the fine.
I understand that the law ALLOWS them to be protected by demanding both, but I think it shows a real lack of humanity and empathy for those who truly intended to do the right thing.
If I could give 0 starts, I would.
Wouldn't recommend parking anywhere this company is responsible for as they will find any way to fine you and then keep the fee too.
