Great Experience Purchasing a Visio key for Visio 2021
I purchased a Visio 2021 key form Softcomp, but before I did, I verified that it was legal to do so as I was receiving a lifetime key for $8.99. I learned that Softcomp is a Microsoft Partner and legitimate business upon doing a Google search. Softcomp also advertises on their website that they are a Microsoft Partner. I then downloaded the Visio Installation file from the Microsoft site based on the email I received from Softcomp that contained my Visio Key and download instructions.
Because I had never purchased a software key like this, I knew nothing about the process and ran into several problems on the download. My firefox browser did not like the download and my Windows Explorer didn't like the large file, and I lost my desktop image during the process, though only temporarily. Firefox doesn't tell you how long the download takes so that you know that it takes a few minutes due to the file size. I promptly emailed Softcomp and they responded timely, and I followed their instructions and used the Edge Browser, and the download went without a hitch as Edge tells you how long the download takes and shows you the progress.
I next asked Google's AI how to get my Windows Explorer from not responding due to the super large file, and was told that I could press CTRL, ALT, DELETE to reach the Task Manager, and then right click on Windows Explorer to restart Explorer which I did, and it immediately closed the Explorer windows that was not responding. Google then told me I could type shell:downloads in the Run Command box and it would give me access through the back door to the download directory so that I could delete one of the large files as I had two large download files in there from the browser issue. Once I did this, and I was able to open my Windows Explorer and double click on the large download file to install the software.
The install process creates a virtual drive in Windows Explorer during the install, and I could not remove the large file after installation, however, I emailed Softcomp, and they explained to me what I needed to do. I then right-clicked on the virtual drive and chose eject, and this eliminated the virtual drive. I was then able to delete the large installation file, and my Windows explorer is now back to normal.
This was a trying situation, but only because I have never purchased a software key and gone through a download process like this before, therefore, it was a learning curve for me, however, Softcomp was prompt in their help when I asked for it, and cordial in their communication and also supplied me with a 20% off coupon for my next purchase, or I can give it to someone.
I highly recommend others to check out this website and take advantage of legal access to software at unbeatable prices, and with great customer service.
