Review of PostNL

Consistently poor delivery experience

I’ve had multiple failed delivery attempts with PostNL, at least three times this month alone. Each time, the tracking says “delivery unsuccessful” even though I was home the entire day and no one rang the bell. It’s frustrating, especially since other couriers like DHL manage to deliver just fine.

I’ve made a complaint before, but the problem keeps repeating. I’m not even sure if the issue lies in the system or with the individual couriers, but it clearly isn’t working.

The funny part? On the same day, not even an hour later, I got a notification saying the package will be delivered THREE DAYS LATER to a pick-up point that’s literally 30 meters from my house. Is that crazy or what? Why not just deliver it the same day if it’s that close?

Maybe the PostNL team who handles these Trustpilot reviews will come up with the usual nice-sounding response like, “please connect with customer service”, but honestly, I already contacted customer service twice, and there has been no improvement at all.

If I had the choice, I wouldn’t use PostNL. It’s unreliable, inefficient, and just keeps disappointing.

Super fast process and delivery

I placed an order for a piano on Friday around noon. The site said it would be here in a day, but I didn't think it would come on Saturday, since the email said delivery days were based on business days. Thanks a bunch for the super quick service and delivery. The piano arrived in really good condition and I got it at a great price due to a discount at that time.

Never use PostNL for AMAC online products again.

This is my second time buying an apple product from AMAC online. The first experience was horrible because the product was lost during the delivery to a PostNL pick-up point. Unfortunately, both AMAC nor PostNL did not help find the missing package. The second buy was good enough because I picked up my package at an AMAC store, and it's a pretty quick process.

Tracking ID

Tracking ID: 3SAMAZ005xxx622 must be delivered to a PostNL pick-up point, but the courier delivered to the billing address. On the other hand, I have a missing package with the trace code number 3SZYYE53xxx76, which has not been solved until today. So, this is about their system and maybe the couriers' behavior who caused these missing packages because they were delivered to the wrong address, even though it's clearly stated to be delivered to a pick-up point. When I contacted customer service, she said, "she could not see the order be delivered at a pick-up point," which is ridiculous because I still can see my order and chosen delivery address in the e-commerce I used. So, shame on you, PostNL! You cannot be trusted! Even your customer service is not nice at all!
