The whole process is very slow and disjointed.

The whole process is very slow and disjointed.
Messaging through the portal is impersonal (speak to a different person each time) and also the portal messaging text doesn't allow for any paragraphs or anything so everything just comes across as one big sentence. Would prefer to discuss this sort of thing on the phone rather than ask a question and wait a day or two for reply.

Also the actual survey doesn't seem to have accounted for a lot of the timber damage so I've had to upload more photos which I'm now waiting to be reviewed.

My claim started on 6th Jan following Storm Goretti but didn't get a surveyor to assess property until 28th Jan and still discussing the damage now in March. The whole time there is a hole in the garage/shed in roof with water rainwater damaging the contents.

Delayed Bike Delivery

My recent experience with Ribble has unfortunately been poor. I ordered a bike (CGR 725 - Gravel) in Jan 2022 that was in stock according to the website. I chose this particular model as some of the others were listed as "pre-order only" and even the in stock models estimated delivery wouldn't be until March. The proposed wait was acceptable to me and so I completed the order.
Fast forward a few months and the delivery date has been put back 3 times and is now estimated as June (though I have no confidence it will arrive by this point).
The same bike is now listed as "pre-order only", but also with an ETA of June, which suggests that the bike parts were not actually in stock when I first made the order...
Annoyingly, other brands of bike that I was considering (and initially had longer wait times) are now available to buy so I feel like I'm missing out on enjoyable cycling time (not to mention the fact that I'm already paying for the bike through the cycle to work scheme).
I basically feel like Ribble have prioritised making sales without actually guaranteeing they have the stock.

In the interests of fairness I bought another bike from Ribble a couple of years ago and the delivery was on time and the product was great.
