Poor service
Ordered a motorbike battery, website was easy to navigate and battery delivered quickly. Any other battery I have had delivered has had bubble wrap to protect it and contents marked as fragile. This was just in its cardboard box with bag taped around it. On getting it out of box one terminal was twisted with a dent in the outer corner. It was obvious that it had been banged or dropped in transit. The plastic corner protector on the damaged corner was in three pieces. Not a big deal, accidents happen.
Informed company ( with pictures)to check still safe to use and received a reply from Arnie( his name seems to appear on the other negative comments on here) stating he had viewed the pictures and concluded I must have damaged it by overtightened the terminal. Good products, poor customer service

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry you were disappointed with your experience. I completely understand your concern about the terminal damage.
All Motobatt batteries are factory-packed with solid plastic corner protectors on all four posts to prevent any impact damage during transit. Since these were introduced, we haven’t seen a single case of a terminal bent in this way. From your photos of the battery, the post looks to have been pulled or twisted rather than compressed, but I certainly didn’t mean to suggest this was caused by you, my intention was only to explain why it looked unusual to us.
I do appreciate that you simply wanted to confirm the battery’s safety, and I can confirm it’s fine to use when connected via the two main terminals, with the bent post taped and capped for insulation.
