Excellent until the fitter turner up
Sharps were excellent until the day of installation, where their fitter absolutely let the whole experience down.
Firstly, there was some form of misunderstanding regarding the installation date, I was more than happy to let that go.
However when the fitter Kyle then arrived at 8am, within 5 minutes he was “ready to abandon the job” and also was quite happy to tell me “I’ll find a fit in Swansea where the fitter hasn’t turned up, much easier for me”!!!
This was simply because the room wasn’t 100% to his satisfaction. When he arrived we had pulled the carpet back, taken the door architrave off the wall, and moved at much as I possibly could at that point - baring in mind I was on my own with my 1 year old.
As soon as Kyle expressed his disappointment in the room I said not a problem let’s get to it I will do anything I can to help you. No, he just wanted to “wait until 9am to speak to sharps” in his mind, he had now decided the job was impossible and he wasn’t possibly ever going to finish in 1 day and “Sharps will need to compensate me for this”
In the end, after 25 mins of back and forth arguing, he started work and was finishing by 5.15pm!!! Home by 6pm for his tea!!
When Kirsty called me the next day and I had twice spoken to her now about his attitude, she literally could not have cared less and didn’t even apologise. From memory the response was “hmm yeah ok I’ll make a note of it”.
The wardrobes are stunning, the whole process was actually really smooth, but really sad that they have people like that representing them.
I am a customer service manager and am in the industry myself dealing with fitters of all trade daily, and I would certainly not be happy to neither work with or be represented by Kyle.
Ps, he tells all your customers if you “kick off enough on the phone they’ll give you a free rubbish removal”, when I was then offered it for free anyway.
