Review of Assist Card

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Awful experience - unjustified delays

Awful experience. Customer service over the phone after the initial injury is the only positive thing about assist card. Actually claiming has taken 4 months so far and still requesting information that has been sent 3 times, requesting new information which is not under their policies, taking unreasonably extended periods of time to respond only to request the same information. They seem to be going out of their way to make it difficult. It is not worth it, even though it is a premium policy.

Review of TALA

Seamless service and a ‘modern man’ approach to helping women

I contacted Tala after I realised a minor sizing/quality issue with a pair of leggings.
The continuity of care was second to none, even though I dealt with two different employees. Eleanor was the first, efficient and speedy! Josh followed this up seamlessly. Considering I had sent in a video of me in a bra and with the faulty leggings on, he responded very professionally without ‘batting a digital eyelid’. There is no reason a man can’t just as professionally and unabashedly handle a woman’s query as a woman could. All in good humour he helped and offered a replacement without any fuss.

No needing to repeat myself to multiple people, resend photos, follow up… it was brilliant!

Review of Express Online Training

misleading company

The real outline of the course.... not made clear.
I completed my online assessment - a review box was presented - I entered my review as a very positive one due to the fact the questions and system allowed easy answers and they had not required a verbal/video assessment which I was pleased with. The pop up box with the review implied 'completion of course' and to finish/certify, I just needed to submit a review. I did this and then progressed to the screen where a proof of address is required (and needs to be certified by a JP or other official) then there is also a 24-48 potential delay in getting this certified by EOT personnel. Only once this is sighted by them and approved can you move on to doing your verbal/video - so the course is not complete yet they had requested a review as if to indicate you are all done. You even have to pay after the online written assessment - which further implies you are totally complete, but before the verbal/video assessment.

I work FIFO and my job was in VIC, not QLD so now I am 'breeching' their policy as I cannot complete the video verbal from QLD, nor get it certified by a JP in QLD. They stated that the VIC nurse that I got to verify my proof of address was registered to VIC not QLD, so she was not valid. Clearly not realising that Nursing registration is National and has been since 2008. I am still trying to prove that I can live in QLD (and only due to their system set up and delays) work outside of QLD and still get my whitecard. I even paid for express postage

I would avoid any hassles at all costs. A whitecard is a simple box to tick, not here. Do yourselves a favour and go almost anywhere else. You do NOT get an instant certificate as they need to verify all your documentation anyway.
