Review of Zwift

Overcharged every single month

We live in Austria, and the advertised price here for the monthly subscription is 19.99 EUR. Regardless of this, they charge me 19.99 USD every month, which ends up being around 21.2 EUR. Since I escalated the problem, they're bullshitting around with random copy-pasted answers about special taxes, etc, while a friend of mine (also from Austria) pays only 19.99 EUR at the same time, and the bill I receive also states that I paid 19.99 EUR, includint taxes.

After we've spent almost 1400 EUR to purchase a Zwift Ride, I would expect a much better user experience when it comes to their support, because in its current form it's more like a scam, than a decent service.

[Malaga Airport] Surprisingly positive

[Malaga Airport] I was a little bit scared in advance after I've read the reviews here, but then at the end everything went smooth, except one thing: when our plane arrived, their system broke down and there was a long queue in front of their office, so we had to wait ~40 minutes to get our car.
We booked the car in advance on their webpage, including the "Total Comfort Cover" insurance option.
The car was an almost new Toyota Yaris Hybrid, technically OK, and without any scracth, however it was a bit smelly inside, probably they didn't wait to dry out the carpet after the last cleaning.
I've handed over a receipt from a neighbouring petrol station when we dropped off the car, so the fuel deposit was refunded the next day.
If the car wasn't smelly and we wouldn't have to wait 40 minutes on arrival, I would give a 5.

Don't believe the fake 5 star reviews

Frankly, the way they handle their customers is just awful.
I ordered a pair of shoes last November, and the inlay at the heels completely broke, making the shoes unwearable. Since I was still in the warranty period, I've sent them back. ~2 weeks later they sent their reply (in English btw, which is fine for me, but a little weird from a company who operates in Hungary and probably not every one of their customers speaks English), saying that I was the one who caused the damage "due to the different intensity of use of the product" and "caused by the method of use".
Until that I wasn't aware that a shoe has more than one method of use, and I also don't understand what qualifies as a "different intensity", since I used the shoes quite little, which also pretty obvious if they look at them.

Just for the comparison: my wife had a similar experience with a different pair of shoes a few months ago, she sent a few pictures from the damage to Modivo (ecipo.hu in Hungary), and they refunded her without any question, accepting that the product was faulty.

If you don't care about your warranty, then footshop is probably a decent choice, but if you would like to have a correct customer experience, just avoid them!

Dear customer,

I understand your disappointment, your claim was rejected because of the further wearing of the claimed defect - the back part at the heel. In the statement we wrote to you that it is in the area of both heels that the back lining is locally very significantly damaged. The warranty does not cover damage to the footwear caused by improper use and the occurrence of a defect must be claimed immediately after the defect has manifested itself, not to continue to use it with the defect to the stage of degradation and devaluation.
Anyways, as I told you before you have the option for disagreement - you can turn to the European Consumer Centre in Hungary.

Thank you for your understanding.

When we collected the car on 22th of…

When we collected the car on 22th of August at Corfu Airport, we missed an existing scratch on the undercarriage of the vehicle. After we returned the car on 29th of August, an other employee stated that we caused this scratch (without barely checking it, she just pointed to the scratch from a distance) and she demanded to pay instantly 180 EUR. Because we had a flight to reach, I paid this amount, but I didn't get any invoice or statement (only the POS terminal's receipt) what this payment was about. Furthermore she wrote down my debit card's number and also the security code of it and when I demanded to hand it over to me, she rejected it.
When I complained, they quickly forget to speak English. Shameful, scammer company.
