Best company I have used for glasses…

Best company I have used for glasses online. The quality is excellent, whilst prices remain lower than high street. Fabulous idea to sell a pair and donate another to someone in need when the customer purchases. Arrives quickly and packaged beautifully with a complimentary tote bag and glasses tool. Best £99 I've spent on quality specs, with a difference.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Cheap items that don't match photo. Ordered pair of tracking trousers, way too small and poor quality.
So far 20 emails have not resulted in a returns address to send them back, only continuous appeals for me to accept a £3 refund and keep the trousers.
They don't fit, they are poor material and I don't want them.

Avoid at all costs.

Don't hesitate, they are great.

I have used glasses direct for the last three or four years. I have never had an issue with the quality or prescription.
I have just bought two pairs of black rimmed frames, one distance and the other sunglasses with a green tint. They arrived within the week and are perfect. They cost under £60 for both pairs.
I have worried about adjusting them, when I have bought plastic frames in the past there are directions telling you how to heat the arms gently with a hair dryer to bend into shape. I did this, it's easy. The metal frames need no adjusting so far.
I would never buy from high street now. The pricing is unjustified. If you want designer you can have them, for a fraction of the price. Otherwise there are really good budget frames here as well.

The gentleman that delivered…

The Asian gentleman that delivered chucked the parcels (two arriving from Sweden ) under my parcel box on the wet ground, outside our gate, next to the public road.
. This was despite the large written note asking for the parcel inside the box to be taken with him, and to put the deliveries in the box and ring our bell on the gate.
My partner managed to catch him before he drove off explaining this, and it would seem he wouldn't come near the gate as we had a dog in the garden.
This is why there is a secure parcel box outside, so there is no need to enter.
He was unbothered and uninterested. Luckily we managed to get the parcels in and have him take the one he would have left.

Passenger is my favourite brand

Passenger is my favourite brand. Quality clothing, great fit and sustainable.
I have t shirts, hats and shirts and love the bright colours and quality fabric.
Service is excellent, packaging is minimal and returns are simple. All this -and they plant a tree. Awesome job guys.

Lovely homemade pies

Lovely homemade pies, with crunchy pastry, crisp and tasty.
Filling is good and not gappy, the steak is good quality and not chewy at all.
Arrived super quick, well packaged, definatley recommend.
I can't make pies as good as these, and the supermarket just doesn't cut it.
I had steak and stilton, steak and ale.steak and cheddar -and butternut squash and chili and chicken pies. All of which I thought were very good and flavourful. Nicely packaged in little cardboard boxes, I took one to work for lunch .

I've bought a few things online from…

I've bought a few things online from sports direct and it's been good. The one purchase I made I tried to cancel and order a different size -but you can't do this as they dispatch pretty much straight away. So I ordered again and got both items and had to return one, which was easy and they refunded right away.
I've been impressed with the discounts and service.
Just be sure to order correctly in first place as you can't change it...

I can honestly say I would definitely…

I can honestly say I would definitely buy again. It was a good quality t shirt and came within a week.
Brown t with blue Viking shield. Really nice and true to size (XL).
Previous reviews have been terrible I see -but it seems they have tried hard to correct their mistakes. I had two followup emails to check if it had arrived, and if I was happy.
I am.
I can only tell you my experience was great.

Reliable and affordable, go for it!

Like anyone who has always gone via the opticians for glasses I was sceptical about using an online service.
Would the prescription be ok? Is the quality there?
So far I have had five pairs from Glasses Direct and been very happy with them.
You may need to make small adjustments to the fit yourself, with help of a hairdryer to warm the arms first - but really, if you want an affordable alternative I would definitely try them.
They arrived in each case within about seven to ten days and were all perfect.
There was one frame I wasn't mad on, because the little square detail on the edge was ever so slightly rotated compared to the other side. I think only I noticed it, and I didn't send them back.
No problems with the prescription and my new pair of Ralph Lauren's cost me under £90 and are super smart.
Better than spending -previously £140-200...

And -if you're not happy, you can return them. What have you got to lose?

Fat Face reliable service, quality clothing.
I have been buying from FF for a number of years and can honestly say I love the brand and most recently found that the customer service is second to none.
Over Christmas items went missing during transit and were instantly replaced, no quibbles.
My local FF shop are brilliant handling returns and I find them very customer focussed and polite.
Love the style, quality, pricing. Just great.

I have used glasses direct twice.

I have used glasses direct twice.
He service is fast and the delivery is quick. My prescription lenses are great, no problems with them at all.
The second time I used them I forgot to add the free pair on, and after phoning the help line they did this straight away for me.
Quality is of a good standard, except one pair where the overall frame looked a bit cheap to me,I wear as sunglasses. The other three pairs are very nice indeed.
I found it easy to adjust them with a hairdryer to heat the arm gently -dont think I would go back to he high street.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I chose them as they didn't ask for a picture of the dog, until that is, you sign up and start the information process. I have a Romanian rescue and getting the cheek swab was quite an ordeal for him and me.
He is a blond Labrador/husky mix at a guess, but the test came back as Manchester terrier, poodle, Collie, bulldog DNA.
In my opinion they don't run the tests, but look at the picture which us why I sent one of a TREE.

Lying scammers. Steer clear.

Wayfair Wardrobe -delivery fiasco

We ordered a mirrored wardrobe that was to be delivered in five parcels, Wayfair use different distributors and warehouses -and we got our first delivery 6 weeks after order , The delivery men turned up and searched the lorry to find it wasn't on there. We chased it up ourselves via Wayfair, who contacted the warehouse, they said they could not find it in the warehouse. Eventually they found four out of five parts, then we rang Wayfair again who told us we could expect it to be delivered soon. It came and we found two of the mirrored panels were smashed.
I expect they knew this when they loaded it on the van, since they said they could only find four parts for a long time. The wardrobe comes from outside UK making a replacement another mammoth wait.
The Wayfair staff we spoke to -we can't complain about, but the actual buying of and delivery have put us off buying anything else. They should make it clear there is a long wait and it comes from outside the uk. We cancelled everything and are waiting for them to pick it up....
UPDATE- 31/1/18- Wayfair have not contacted us after reading this review. Just 'lipservice', sadly. The wardrobe parts were picked up swiftly, however. Avoid -i would say.
