Dismal returns
Ordered 2 tins of osmo poly oil. Not cheap, but worth it. Unfortunately ordered in satin finish and I required matt. I couldn't send back the opened tin, understandably but requested to send back the unopened tin which was excepted. I then received an e mail stated that the returned item was damaged due to insufficient packaging. Nothing about the delivery people throwing/rough handling of the packages. 2909498 order. I will be sure to use local. Appologies for the inconvenience 'wood finishes direct' which were the words you used on your e mail to us. This only cost us, the customer nearly £200. Be careful people, and pack your returning paint like a professional 👌

While we do our best to ensure all returns are handled fairly, paint tins are particularly vulnerable during transit, and unfortunately, insufficient packaging can lead to damage that makes resale impossible. We appreciate your point about courier handling, which is why we advise for best packaging practises to prevent damages as much as possible. You can find some helpful tips on our website under our returns policy, which include using the original packaging and void filling to protect against damage.
