Box was soaking wet

Box was soaking wet, had soaked through to the Nike box holding the trainers which was meant to be a Xmas gift and the guy said sorry box is a little bit wet! No care for this being someone’s Christmas present! Furious!

How this company had 4.5 stars is…

How this company had 4.5 stars is beyond all comprehension. Firstly, I took a Mercedes a class Amg line 1 year old 10k on clock. Received the car and was damaged on the centre display screen and stinking of cigarettes. In addition two bald tyres on delivery.
Rattling from engine never resolved and although they answer bad reviews quickly on here, the same cannot be said for when you call them as they deny any call logs placed with them.
Now 3 years on from taking this car, Mercedes recall for a power steering failure categorised as severe, two failed batteries costing 1600, four fuel injectors 2200k, a pressure fuel pump, 2k and now Mercedes inform me
It needs a full engine rebuild at 11k pounds. Hippo deny this being a defect at sale however with 60k on the clock over 5 years is low so what does that tell you? Please if I can stop one person using this scamming bunch of morons I will sleep well. DO NOT BUY WITH THESE MODERN CON Artists! Interestingly my previous review has been conveniently taken down as this will likely be. Hence their likely higher review scores. It shows what they are like, how they operate and the glee they get taking honest peoples money to lace their pockets and laugh to the bank whilst they leave customers in a perilous and often bad situation with zero actual thought or aftercare. Bunch of a holes.

Do not ever lease with these crooks

Do not ever lease with these crooks. Two cars sent to me both had ripped tyres smelling of smoke and dirty. Then second Mercedes has not only had two damaged batteries costing me 1200 3 year old car and then all glow plugs fuel injectors go within 3 years costing 2300. Hippo then tell me this was never leased but financed which was not what was said on previous calls. Bunch of crooks and useless service. Please take your custom elsewhere these people should not be trading!

Thank you for your time over the phone and for bringing me up to speed with your issues.

I apologise that you feel so disgruntled. As you have had the vehicle now for over 2 years we would need sufficient evidence to support your claims, and I believe your initial complaint logged in July 2021 to be resolved at the time.

You also mention that you was never told that you had taken a finance deal rather than a lease deal but you have seen and signed documentation on 21/05/2021 stating your finance package.

Whilst it is super frustrating to experience mechanical and electrical issues with your vehicle at any point during a vehicles lifetime, it can happen. Brand new vehicles come with warranties for this reason and it is also the reason why extended warranties are available for used vehicles also.

We will await to hear from your funder on the matter but if you need anything in the meantime please get in touch.

Quality equipment

Quality equipment, nice spacious and never too busy. Was a snap fitness goer but will not leave pure gym have the core plus membership and it’s well worth it. Love it would recommend as a gym goer of 20 years one of the best I’ve been to. Equipment - I would like to see a few higher quality machines like a pendulum or weight belt squat plate and better calf machines is only issue for me

Kashif… a mortgage magician

Kashif… a mortgage magician. So helpful for my initial mortgage and remortgaging. Made the process so easy and professional. Helped us both as first time buyers understand the process and everything he said happened. I cannot thank him enough and would not use another service to buy our second home. Didn’t tell me that the order was in…

Didn’t tell me that the order was in store I rang and they said sorry they forgot to sign it in. Then went to collect and store said item isn’t in. Then customer service told me it’s lost and had to cancel the order.

No delivery slot

Poor, DPD provide an hour slot with updates so you can plan your day. DHL did not offer this and so had to wait in so that I could receive my order in time for the day I paid for. Really poor service:
