Appalling service…

I've been waiting for a delivery from DPD. They texted to say I wasn't at home for the delivery which is not the case as i was working in the front garden by the gate all day.
I blame Wickes for using DPD as this is not the first time that this has happened. From now onwards I will use a local builders merchant who don't use a company that have to make up lies when they cant be bothered to make a delivery on time.

Excellent service and easy to contact.

Having the experience of using two previous online conveyancing companies, we certainly noticed the difference with Brevis. This company goes out of its way to provide excellent service. Everyone you speak to is helpful and, without doubt, you can always get in touch with your account manager. This is not the case with some solicitors/conveyancers. From start to finish we found them to have a positive attitude and in spite of our transaction not being as straightforward as some, Brevis gave us confidence that all would be well - and it was. Well done Brevis.

Never again

I ordered a jacket and paid an extra 7.99 for a next day delivery.
The package arrived 2 days later and they will not refund the 7.99.
They blame their courier. I will never purchase from them again. The customer service is diabolical.

What an awful experience and a waste of…

What an awful experience and a waste of time.
I phoned on Sunday morning to enquire if there were any A class hybrids in, or due in, during the next few weeks. I left my contact number and details of my spending budget for my next car, and expected a call back.
As no , members of staff could be bothered to return my call, I went to the branch only to be told that there was nobody available to see me.
I then called into Citroen Penton next door, where the staff were welcoming, helpful and much more customer focused. Following a test drive, I purchased a brand new car.

Don't bother…

I gave my reg no in order to get the correct paint colour according to their web page. When I received the spray paint through the post it was the wrong colour.
I then sent a photo of the wrong colour against the correct colour asking them to refund my money or send the correct paint. I was assured that the correct paint would be posted Tuesday 13th May.

I wont hold my breath.

I was initially sent an incorrect colour spray paint which did not match the colour of the car.

I sent an email to let them know and within 10mins, I had a call from Jeff who was extremely apologetic and said that he will be sending another paint that should match asap,

Bad Service

I have had several orders which have just not turned up and as with other reviewers have had no response to emails sent. I have now cancelled a forthcoming order as I have no faith that it will be received. I am less than confident that my money will be refunded. My advice is do not order from them - avoid at all costs.

I called into the Poole branch on…

I called into the Poole branch on Tuesday evening to purchase some fireproof board which was showing on there site.There were no other customers in the place and I spent ten minuets trying to locate the material. I asked the young girl on the desk for help who asked another young girl on the forklift for help in showing me where the board was. She showed no interest in helping me whatsoever.
I looked for a few minuets more and then asked the young girl for help in finding it once again. She said there was someone who could help but she was on a break. I complained and left.
I was a good paying customer at the Poole branch but I will never purchase another item from Selco as there customer service is the worst that ive had to put up with. There are plenty of other Builders Merchants that would be glad of my custom.

No support when accused wrongly of not returning sat nav to Thrifty

We returned a hire car to Thrifty/Dollar in Las Vegas and a month later saw a transaction on our credit card from them. When we queried this with Holiday Autos, they stated that the fee was because we failed to return the Sat Nav Tablet. We explained that this was completely untrue and that the device was handed to the man who took the car back. He provided no check out paperwork at the time and why did it take a month to make the charge when we had not been informed of the reason. Holiday Autos refused to help, saying we should ring the hire desk in Las Vegas, as they had not been present when the car was returned. This is not satisfactory as our contract was with Holiday Autos and they should be responsible for acting on our behalf in this. We seem to be getting nowhere with this and feel the company is giving extremely bad customer service. We would advise anyone to avoid dealing with this company.

Accused of not returning a Sat Nav Tablet a month after we returned home.

Our car hire was booked through Holiday Autos who completely let us down and gave us no protection against Dollar/Thrifty when we were wrongly accused of not returning a Sat Nav tablet when we returned the car. Thrifty did not provide any paperwork detailing the condition of the car of the equipment hired and we were not advised that they had not received the equipment on return of the car. The first we heard about it was when an amount came through on our credit card a month after our return. Holiday Autos have not been of any help. We wish we had read the many reviews as we certainly would not have booked a Dollar/Thrifty hire. Leave well alone!!
