Due to having issues with unreliable local chemist deliveries the time had come to make a change.
The final straw was requesting a prescription via the NHS App which was signed off by the doctor and still remained undelivered for thirteen WORKING days.
Now I’ve changed I get notifications via email from the prescription received from the doctor to its packaging and when it’s sent together with a tracking number from Royal Mail.
Wonderful service.

Spent hours looking for a lighter weight waffle with my wife at different locations culminating at the Bluewater Shopping Centre at Dartford in Kent.
Saw the waffle in the White store and the staff were very polite and helpful but as usual the wife wanted to see if others were available so we (me) trundled around all the other stores and by the time we had done a full circuit we were both shattered without the energy to do the quarter distance from where we parked to go back to the White store so I ordered the gown from home as it was what she wanted. Ordering was simple and despatch was quick by a decent carrier. Learnt many years ago not to go out and buy any type of cloathing as it will always be wrong so best to get what they see. - they also like
“the shopping experience” - I will say no more…
Great quality and the inside cloth is thin enough to dry out for the next day.

Intermittent Faulty item replaced after 11 months.
I had an on going issue with a replaced item after a neutral power line fault which was almost a year in the past. Haste were sympathetic and the outcome was a full refund so I could go and buy a replacement myself.
What was truly impressive was the replies to any email I sent in which was usually the same day.
Well impressed with the office staff set up here.

Recently purchased a 2013 Citroen Picasso from a dealer that seemed to have an intermittent clutch problem which this company had renewed for the dealer - the car is full of electronics so the vehicle needed to go on diagnostics - phoned D&T and spoke to Bogden who is the owner who remembered working on my car. I explained the issues (as best I could) and was told to bring the car in.
Took the car in next day and a very expensive Autel diagnostic unit was connected to my cars OBD socket and then the fun began which I was privileged to be able to see.
My car apparently has a number of individual computer systems that each handle loads of different operations around the car and these were individually interrogated and checked with this electronic tool.
My clutch issue was interesting - the cars clutch mechanism could be activated from the diagnostic touch screen from the drivers seat by just tapping one of a myriad of boxes on the screen and amazingly you could hear the clunking of the electronic clutch actuator working as each gear configuration was selected in turn.
This action was cycled through a good number of times - just in case there was an issue with the actuator sticking but no issue was electronically found but all I can say is that after the checks the issue with the clutch was miraculously solved.
Service was professional and very quickly performed and was an eye opener for me as gone are the days where just an open ended spanner was required to service a car as now on all cars the mechanic needs to be proficient knowing how to interrogate a vehicles electronics to address the correct fault before he picks up a spanner!
They seem to do a lot of work on top end vehicles here, BMW, MERCEDES, AUDI and even my humble Citroen was fitted in with ease.

Purchased a 2013 Citroen Picasso (top of the range) from ADS Car Sales at a fair price and the owner (Servet) was honest with the questions I asked. Good distance demonstration drive and me and my wife were most impressed with the car. Had some questions and one of the all around car cameras was not working which he said would be fixed before purchase if I wanted the car.
I asked if the cam belt had been changed and he was honest and said he did not know but he would have his mechanic take a look and give an eye on inspection…
Me and my wife were keen to proceed and Servet agreed to go ahead with the camera replacement and the cam belt visual inspection. To show good will on our side I agreed I would pay the asking price.
After the weekend I had a call to say the camera within the wing mirror had been replaced so we went along to see the car again and make our final decision - we were shown the camera was now working and we were told that a visual inspection had been made of the cam belt and it looked in a good condition which was as good as could be said without removing the belt.
By this time I had full confidence in dealing with Servet and the only issue he told me about was that the replaced camera had to be aligned to the vehicle and this was a job only a main Citroen agent could perform.
He agreed that if I took the car he would reimburse me the cost of the Citroen alignment procedure.
I had full confidence so I went ahead with the cash transfer. Documentation completed with a 3 month written guarantee we drove the car away with smiles on our faces.
To be safe I booked the car in for a cam belt change and also into Citroen for the camera alignment which was a 2 week wait with a provisional cost of £144 as long as it could be done in one hour…
After the camera alignment was completed I contacted Servet and he transferred over £145 straight away which totally confirmed the honesty of this company.
He made it clear that he would look after us with any issues and he has shown by deed to be true to his word. This is an honest review and I fully support his trading honesty.

Dear sir.
I collected my wife from Gatwick airport today (1/6/22) in the early hours.
Her plane arrived @ 02:29 and I arrived as per your time stamp at 02:49 which should have represented enough time for her quick collection and the minimum charge…
Due to a situation of baggage delays because of staff shortages which I fully respect is beyond the control of either yourselves or equally me I was forced to wait till the baggage handlers delivered my wife baggage and she could come out.
Being no fault of mine or my wife’s we were both effectively forced into a hostage situation where I had no choice but to wait for her to be “released” from being a baggage 🧳 hostage.
I think the situation of charging me the full price for a stay that was effectively forced upon me for a situation which was totally out of my control is very unfair.
I would ask you to refund me the difference between the £25 I paid and that of a quick pick up / drop off of £5 which I feel is the fair charge.
I attach the details below and look forward to your prompt response to my query.

As such Mr Bruce, the charge which you paid is in line with their expectations for the drop off zone and as per the information provided on their website. We do appreciate that your wife was delayed exiting the airport but it is at the motorist’s discretion to decide what duration is appropriate for them to stay in the drop off zone, or to alternatively use other facilities as outlined on their website.

Gatwick airport gets someone else to just collect the fees so not accountable…

Barclays Telephone Banking - minefield.
Wanted telephone banking because Barclays say my iPhone 6 software cannot be supported after May 2022.
My phone is not old and is fully functional and the existing software is up to date but Barclays say newer phone software has more security.
My iPhone has fingerprint recognition and Barclays already insisted on a change to a 5 digit passcode for on-line banking a while back so why should I ditch a good working phone which has a new battery - should I throw it away!😳.
Telephone banking went well at first and I was supplied with a new 5 digest passcode number. Within the same letter it says you can change the passcode - can you hell.
I phoned the contact number given in the same letter and explained I wanted to change the supplied passcode and they told me what to do - which I did - and around in a circle I went back to the phone centre again😳 twice.
I got back onto the Barclays (for the third time) contact centre again - they were very polite and nice but the answers /replies are like they were from an Indian call centres - off script.
I have now given up and destroyed the passcode - all I wanted to do was change it…
Software gone mad as usual with no way of feedback when it’s not user friendly and won’t work.
If your call centre doesn’t know what you have to do how do you expect me to😳😳😳

Product was as advertised and there was good communication from the company.

SERVICE THAT WORKS
Had a fridge freezer from Argos but it went wrong and the lower fridge vegetable compartment was freezing with frost on the veg.
It went wrong within a week of the years guarantee running out.☹️
Contacted Argos who said as the fault was reported before the guarantee had expired it would be fixed irrespective of how long it took. Engineer called on the agreed date and time and changed components but after he left the fridge was still freezing so contacted Argos again and the engineer was again booked to call.
Engineer called again on the requested day and time and he changed the sensor which was the only item left to change but after he left the lower vegetable tray was still was freezing on the lowest dial setting.
Phoned Argos again to report the same fault and I was told the unit had to be exchanged for a new fridge freezer and it was booked to come within two days.
The new fridge freezer was delivered as agreed and the old unit was collected at the same time. I now have an extended years guarantee too.😃
I dealt with a lady named Veronica on the phone who was exceptionally polite and did all the work getting the fridge freezer replaced.
So wonderful to deal with U.K. staff who are courteous and efficient and I never ever waited long for the phone to be answered.
I made a point of phoning Veronica back after the new unit was delivery to thank her for her efforts and she said my call made her day.
The only sad part is she will shortly retire...

Purchased a great weather station from them and it came the next day - unfortunately it was faulty so it had to be returned and duly phoned CPS for a returns number... (answered phone so quickly).👍
To save having to await for a refund to be applied I suggested that if I paid for another unit could the new unit be delivered and the old faulty unit be collected at the same time.🤔
No problem I was told - so I paid for another unit.
NEXT DAY U.P.S. DELIVERED THE NEW REPLACEMENT AND COLLECTED THE FAULTY UNIT.
Read into this what you wish however I have to say that despite Covid and all the problems around at the peak of the second wave this company...
1) Answered my phone call very promptly.
2) Had sympathy with my dilemma and offered refund.
3) Happy to accommodate my strange request to pay twice to get what I wanted and wait for a refund via PayPal.
I know this is an unusual review but I’m so pleased to be able to get something I really wanted after working out what I felt was the best within the market place.
Now during Covid I have a choice to either watch TV or I can watch my colour weather station screen🤔.
