This is a follow up to a follow up to my Beyond Disappointing review of Shipton &co

In their last response, Shiptons apologised, immediately investigated by someone whom I assume was a senior management person, assuring me the item had been discontinued- the previous explanations for non- delivery had been vague and ambiguous, and also assuring me the item would be removed from their web-site. It wasn’t. And offering me a discount off my next order, which could only be redeemed by ordering through the customer service manager only.
However, the particular item is still listed on the website. I reordered the same ‘discontinued’ item directly off the website. Paying full price. Lo and behold! The item was delivered a week ago.
I emailed the customer service manager to let him know this and asked him to comment; have still heard nothing back.

This beggars belief. Why was I misled a second time? Surely this cannot be the company’s policy when something goes wrong?

All very strange and NOT OK

This is a follow up to my previous…negative review

This is a follow up to my previous negative review titled Beyond Disappointing. Customer service contacted me right away. They investigated further assuring me the item was indeed out of stock with the suppliers and offering me a 25% discount on my next Shipton purchase to make up for the disappointment and inadequate customer service. They were genuinely interested in resolving the issue, prompt responses and empathy went a long way to making me feel a valued customer. Thank you Shipton.
