What a farce!
Well, what can I say other than a major disappointment.
First I try to buy a sofa and you couldn't message properly, only could only choose questions from drop down menus.
So the company said they'd contact the seller and ask. Never heard from them again, even with a chase.
Suddenly we can actually use free text to contact sellers. Only to find it's been sold elsewhere.
Second attempt, I buy the sofa only to find out from the seller they sold it the following day after I'd bought it.
So there's no proper contract of sale. Expect sofas not to be there or sellers not to honor the sale.
Complete waste of many hours searching through a lot of sofas that really should be taken to the tip for recycling....
The search facility is rubbish, there are no filter settings. There are days where the site moves so slowly you may as well have a dial up connection.
Overall I could have spent my time better.

My plants weren't packaged very well…
My plants weren't packaged very well and I received a box of compost to rescue the plants from. Having sent a lot of plants in my time, there are plenty of ways to package them to stop this happening. Any leaf growth the plant had wae damaged.
Also, I wouldn't have known the root ball wasn't the pot size. The plants would have fitted in half the size pots. And we pay for the pot size. I am used to buying commercially and no nursery would do this to a professional. However plenty of retail nurseries pull this trick.
Customer service didn't seem to care much. Blamed delivery company. Told to wait to spring to see if plants survive and contact them at that point.
Hmmm
Thanks for your reply but I was told they were posted up a year prior and not just in the autumn

Very fresh and very fast delivery
I'm really pleased with my order.
Arrived really quickly.
Great to get the cavelo nero on stem, it's last much longer when supplied like this.
The purple carrots are immense. I love that I can buy these colorful veg here. The same with the little purple potatoes, fresh and taste wonderful.
The pea shoots were a really good deal, stayed fresher longer than the little bags you buy the supermarket and also supplied at a good weight so they're not gone as soon on as you open the bag. Also the gourmet mushroom were fresher than I can buy locally.
All in all fresher than I'm used to finding off the shelf.

Is anyone else fed up with these…
Is anyone else fed up with these companies?
This time they wanted £4.44 in fees plus a service charge.
What am I paying for?
I note that items are higher priced, the when adding on the fees I could go out an eat, let someone else doing the serving and washing up, while using their heat and light.
Previously, my take away would not charge if the order was over a certain amount or they'd add on a £1 for a low value order. The food would arrive quickly and it would be hot too. Oh and of course if I picked up, they'd give you a discount.
Lots of our takeaways have gone out of business because they can't afford to be on these platforms.
I am also bored of nothing but saturated fat and fried goods, or another pizza. While some restaurants now use these, the food doesn't travel well. So again, I'm now plumping to go an eat out and save money.
This is crazy, I can't believe we've all fallen for this so called convenience.

Breaking Consumer Protection Act Laws
Wow, what a useless company.
They didn't send out the items in a good timeframe and then didn't upgrade as the website promised.
I then get two wrong items sent and instead of being able to get help, everything is staff by AI.
A chatbot that has no human behind it. So I called, the main number on site is wrong, it's actually 0333.
I think this is because from what I can see they have major issues and don't want to deal with them.
The virtual assistant on the telephone. Has no ability to put you through to anyone, so don't bother calling.
The AI keeps saying it understands, of course it doesn't and it's insulting to use such phrases from dead entity.
So, basically I've ended up being upset and wound up by a company using AI to hide behind.
There is now no chance of replacing these items and I need to send them on to the Highlands and as they are so late anyway, it's doubtful that the kid would receive them anyway for Christmas.
Why would you send massager over a disco bath toy? They're not even comparable. The alien. Orb Ball is a grey grotty things that doesn't squeeze. It's actually hurt my hand, how could a child that loves colour and squishy things even begin to enjoy this?
Edit: in response to below. Why not just not just say the items aren't in stock a refund rather than send rubbish. Now I have to go through a load of rubbish, go to the post office that I haven't time for and all you can say is that, and still no apology! Plus they want me to pay for the return for items I didn't order or want.
Under the Consumer Protection Act, if the wrong item is sent or is faulty, legally the seller pays the return. Report to Trading Standards!
Edit: company refuses to interact, opened VISA DISPUTE
Further Edit: I tried the damaged faulty items option and it still tried to charge .e for the return postage, perhaps the company want to check!

Review of Trainline
What a rip off!
What a rip off!
My two tickets were £256, I was part way thru the booking when the screen refreshed and the new royal of£315 appeared.
I didn't do anything to the screen, so it wasn't my fault.
As.we.were travelling that day, I had to book to secure tickets.
We then boarded the train to find that it wasn't busy and there was no need to hike the price.
Customer service made all sorts of lame excuses. I asked for my complaint to be escalated and was told they'd replied when chasing it up. That they'd resent the email, to date there hasn't been anything.
I am fed up with companies constantly ripping us off while they make huge profits, pay staff peanuts and leave us out of pocket. It's legalised theft.
I won't use the Trainline again for this reason. A £60 increase for no good reason.
EDIT: so they want to wind me up further by opening another complaint that will never be answered and get the rub around from off site agents. No voting with my feet, either book direct or by national rail. And T least I can choose seats properly in the other websites. What a shame the Trainline when it was first launched was second to none. Today a money making entity and trying to force bookings websites on you. With zero customer care.

Seller does not reply
Reported parcel hadn't arrived - no reply.
Evri tell me they'll tell them, but to contact them again - no reply.
Turns out a neighbour picked up from doorstep as we've had thefts. She ended up getting called away so I didn't get the parcel until late.
I contacted them to let them know - no reply.
Asked about the returns service - no reply.
Product expensive even at sale prices, items not very good quality on arrival.
I won't shop again after this experience.
Let's hope there's no an issue when it comes to the refund.
Edit 23/09
Items returned and confirmed delivered. Seller still does not reply. I've received nothing at all. I am currently £75.60 out of pocket. Which means I'll now have to open a PayPal case and wait another few weeks to get the money back.
What a terrible seller!

I am so very happily surprised.
I am so very happily surprised.
After I ordered I thought, oops didn't check the reviews. On reading I expected it to go terribly.
I checked quickly, yep confirmation of order recieved immediately, one check down. Very quickly I received a dispatch notice and an Evri confirmation.
I still bit my nails wondering if I'd get the order and that it would be correct.
Today, nail biting over, they arrived, correct size and model.
So, I ordered Saturday and theyre here, Tuesday/.
I am so glad to be able to review them positively considering some of the reviews I read nearly made me cancel the order.
I hope the company has ironed out the lumps and bumps I've read about here and we seem more happy customers leaving their thoughts

Review of Sykes Holiday Cottages
Sykes should be shut down Mimomsa Cottage West Bexington
Sykes allow hosts to misdescribe properties and won't do anything to help.
The property has been flooded and smelt of damp. It was dirty and needed cleaning. The furniture and decor were cheap and old.
The saucepans were all burnt and the oven didn't work properly.
The floors dangerous for a disabled person and this was sold as disabled friendly.
The doors stuck so a disabled person wouldn't be able to escape a fire.
The beds were old, collapsed and smelt of urine.
My mother was disabled by pain meaning most of the time she suffered so much we couldn't do anything.
Yet Sykes thinks this is ok.
Swrve swerve swerve.
Edit: The reply below is rubbish, they've already told me in no uncertain terms they won't help. Shame trust pilot doesn't let us Hollywood screenshot of their curry replies

Terrible customer service and awful returns procedure.
I have had a terrible time with this company also.
The item I ordered arrived quickly, so I will give them that.
However, some detrimental studies for the product came through after and I realised it could be damaging to use this.
Their customer service was not what I expected from the start and felt them antagonistic. After we agreed the item could be returned, that there would not be a restocking fee. I was told to use their returns portal. Which seems an unnecessary way of doing things as it was.
I got the RMA they wanted and paid for the tracked postage as I feared they'd pretend loss due to the way they talked. On trying to add the tracking number the portal failed and I watched I just watched it spin constantly. I waited for around 10 minutes. Tried again only to have the same thing occur. I emailed them with a screenshot and received no further reply. I also asked would they refund the postage what with having to pay for the return but no reply. I did not take the 10% discount offered either which would have been more than the postage they charged. So in effect a benefit to them. They did not respond.
So, I emailed Royal Mail confirmation of the collection, in transit and the confirmed delivery. They did not respond.
I decided that I should open a PayPal query as worried they would not refund do to the issues with the portal.
Again, they have acted like it is my fault rather than recognising they have a technical fault. Now are making me wait longer for the refund claiming PayPal delays it. It doesn't, you just click through the buttons to allow the refund to process, PayPal make it very easy.
They make all these excuses over item need to be checked and booked back in. Which again isn't a difficult process and doesn't take long. There was also an excessive amount of packaging for such a small item.
I wouldn't want to shop here again.

Great stuff
Great stuff!
I could never understand why this idea was withdrawn from the market in the past.
I bought these for a friend and they're very happy. They've been making "cocktails".
Not only are the crisps good quality. The flavors are well balanced.
I thought that were priced reasonably and the postage rates very good.
I think they get my crisp friends gold seal of approval. He asked, have you thought about Worcester sauce?

Used it for a day, then find they've emptied my bank account
Used it for a day after paying for a 7 day trial. Was expecting a notification to let me know it had ended. Neither did I know they underhandedly check the auto renew box. So today I find £49.99 taken from my account. They will not refund. They will not even recognise I used the app for around an hour in the first day of the 7 day trial. Why would I want 50 quids worth of information I can get anywhere?
What a waste of time and another unscrupulous company preying on vulnerable people.
I haven't got this money spare, I am currently off work with disability without any wage. So, I REALLY appreciate not being able to shop for food tonight. Having been ill a week, there's nothing left in the cupboards.

So disappointed.
So disappointed.
I ordered pillows that I have bought in the past and they are not the same quality.
My old pillows are over 2 years old. About the expected lifespan. Yet still measure more loft than my new ones 6 months on.
The silk isn't blended properly either and the filling has become lumpy.
I even left them for 48 hours before use as I could see straight away they didn't have the loft of the previous ones.
So 6 months on they will not help with a failed product that should last 2 years. But also UK legislation says a product should last at least a year.
I'm told to go away as it's been 6months. I explained I have a fatiguing illness and can't always do things timely as other. It even took me a month from reporting it to sending photos due to this. They will not be considerate. I'd happily prove my diagnosis to them if needed.
The photos show the silk isn't even blended properly and that the filling is lumpy. But they feign they cannot see it.
I would have given them a great review on the previous pair but at £40+ I can't afford to throw money away on substandard products.
What terrible customer service.
I aim to contact my payment provider to see if they can help resolve this.
What a terrible way to treat people.

Nothing works properly - report to trading standards
So in order to get a refund on a faulty infrared belt they want a video.
The unit super heats and the timer has stopped working.
It's been used 3-4 times.
I have explained a video for over 15 minutes will be too big to attach to an email. Neither can a video record temperature.
Earplugs that damage ears
Then the red light unit I am not confident to use after two product failures and it not having the described functionality I just want to return it. I have provided photos of this to show it has no switch to change functions and they are ignoring I have done this.
Companies are supposed to adhere to the rules of the country they are selling in.
The items are faulty and the return carriage needs to be paid by the retailer under UK law.
Trading standards can only do something about these sort of people of we report. They need multiple reports to stop the company trading.

Chinese drop shipper based in Poland
Well, one item isn't for for purpose and the company are refusing to abide by UK legislation.
They need to provide a pre paid return label or a full refund according to UK Law.
I suspect this is a scam to get goods returned to Poland and negate import fees from China.
Too be honest, the stuff I've received is all very cheap and I could have bought it cheaper on eBay.
Customer service and products score zero

High quality products and service
Great company with a good range of products. I've been using them many years now and they've never failed in product quality or delivery.
I recommend them over the well known gardening companies.
