I had to cancel my booking on the day i…

I had to cancel my booking on the day i was meant to arrive, as my husband was ill and admitted to hospital. Despite booking a car with you four or five times a year, for the last 14 years, you still charged me 40% cancellation fee. I understand this is policy, but for a loyal repeat customer I feel this was a bit much.

We hope that your husband is on the mend and is in better health. Our cancellation policy is a blanket policy, BUT we are always willing to make exceptions. Unfortunately, based on our customer logs, we did not have any prior history of your bookings against the email address that you used. We wish to consolidate your customer account, so if you used a different email address for your past bookings, do let us know. Thank you.
