One of the worst customer support services ever!
I was trying first to find out if the strange sounds my new WD Blue 8 TB drive is making are normal or not. After several emails I only found out, the guys responding wether have a minimun understanding of their products or IT tech nor do they even understood what I wanted and what the problem is.
At one point a replacement was offered; it seemed, more to silence me and solve the case instead of the problem (which might be none at all, but that could not be solved as described above).
They send links to a support website so bad it seemed like 10 years old. After several tries, I was able to register my product – to find out, the website says there is no warranty for this NEW device!
Even this cannot be solved. In the end, I even received several answers simultanously which were disagreeing with each other.
I guess I will give up and hope for the best or try to solve this with the merchant instead, don't know what to do else, even tried in English and German but simply receiving all the same, stupid answers again and again like a chatbot.
