I got this as a present when I got my car and the selling point was that I never have to remember to set the time when I park or worry about changing from Winter/Summer time. That has been erratic and I have gotten a few parking fines due to summer/winter time updates failing!
there was even a time, when I manually had to update the time, only for the damn device to update itself a few days later!
I have written to customer service and they wrote:

"Hi Femi,

Can unfortunately cannot do further to help you as there is only a 2 year warranty on all parking discs.

In all our manuals it is also described that it is the user's responsibility to both change the battery and check that the time is correct.

Please tell me:
1. why I need an electronic device, if I still need to check if the time is correct everytime, I park?
2. It is very bad service to say after 2 years, you do not care if the disk updates time or not.

I wrote parking company to explain and get parking fine, overturned but they want none of it.

Why then do we need a ParkOne?
