Frustrating Experience
Requested a payment to my mobile phone provider, and it’s still showing as processing 2 months later! Seriously what is the hold up? This is disappointing and frustrating.

Zipzero not paying utility provider within agreed timescales
I have been using Zipzero for a while now & found it worked well. Since March 24 however, they have not been fulfilling my requests to pay my utility provider. I kept emailing them & was repeatedly given dates by when to expect a resolution but that were consistently unfulfilled. I kept emailing about the problem. Eventually they said payment instructions would no longer be fulfilled within the 7 days as stated but rather multiple weeks - up to eight. When this 'new' time scale was reached for some of my other outstanding instructions, the payments still weren't fulfilled. I currently have £46 waiting to be paid to my utility provider with no certainty if & when it will be paid. I have found the communications with Zipzero to be slow, non-commital, vague & full of empty reassurances that I'd characterise as 'mission-creep strategy'. I have lost confidence in their business model & am considering ending my relationship with them, which is such a shame as it worked well for a while.

Poor communication, poor service, lengthy wait times
I've used this app for a number of years now and for the most part found it innovative and easy to use. I've made several payout requests, which were all received, albeit with some slight delays but nothing major.
That is, until now. I requested a payout of funds on the 1st May. When you request a payout, you are advised it can take 3-5 working days, which is completely reasonable.
On the 8th May, I emailed for an update as I had not received anything, and I was advised that they are "experiencing short-term delays" due to payment timings from their partners. They advised they are working to expedite the process and anticipate the funds will be released mid-May.
I emailed again on the 18th May, and was told finds would be received by the end of May. In fact, I was "reassured" of this! I was also advised they would be returning to their usual payout schedule the first week of June.
I responded to that email on 23rd May and I was subsequently ignored. I emailed again on the 30th June as no one had replied to me. I was, again, ignored. I emailed again on the 2nd June, and was advised on 4th June that I would receive an update regarding payment in the second part of the week. No apology for ignoring my email.
I then emailed on the 7th June for a response and received a reply the same day advising that they were "pleased" to anticipate processing the backlog on Wednesday 12th June, and that I was to ensure payment details were correct before then. At this point, I had also requested the payout for June.
I emailed again on the 14th as I had not received anything, and I was advised they would process the payment in 7 working days. I emailed yet again on the 26th June as (you guessed it!) still nothing, only to receive a reply telling me how happy they were that my April payment had been completed - to which I advised this was related to the May payment, as per the email chain. I was then told, once again, they are working through the backlog and will advise as soon as it is done. I responded to that email, which was ignored and I had to follow up again on the 3rd July. The response for this was that they expected to complete the payment around 10th July and that they will keep me updated. Once again I responded to this and was again ignored. I asked for the issue to be escalated, which was ignored. I then received another generic email saying the payment was estimated for around the 10th July, and they would process these next week (week commencing 15th July).
I bet you know what's coming next... still no payment.
So I emailed again today and was advised of a further delay, and they anticipate these funds to be paid by the end of the first week of AUGUST!
This response talks about "full transparency" and advises that "there is a possibility that this date might be further delayed, till mid-August".
They also stated that they "are committed to keeping you updated on any further developments and to providing the best service possible".
The app is a brilliant idea, and it is only one of few rewards app I use. None of these other apps have had any issues with their payments, and in the rare event they do, the communication is clear and concise. I have never had to follow them up for information on when to receive the reward, as it is always clear.
ZipZero says they are committed to keeping customers updated and customer service, but as you can see from my timeline, this is far from the case. I have had to chase for constant updates and I do wonder, had I not chased, if I would have ever received any update about this.

A complete scam
A complete scam. I tried claiming my money in May 2024, this was held as 'processing' for 3 weeks so contacted support, who promised it would be with me in 7 days.
A week later, still no money, apparently there had been a delay and it would definitely be with me by the end of the month.
You can tell what is coming, dear reader, so I will give you the short version: Here we are at the end of July 2024, over 6 months since these transactions have been made (allowing for the initial processing time before the funds can even be claimed) and still nothing. Over a dozen emails back and forth, all filled with false promises and claims of further delays, with no attempt having been made to inform me about the delay - it is up to me to chase them.
What bothers me as much, is there is absolutely no remorse shown - at no point, until I had pointed it out to them, had anyone had the decency to apologise for the apparent delays, false promises and blatant lies.
Don't touch them with someone else's bargepole, they are unapologetic liars who don't pay you.
UPDATE: Looking at their reply below, this does nothing to address the false promises, lies and lack of remorse shown during SIX MONTHS of waiting. I stand by every word I put in my original review.
UPDATE 2: Mid-November and still no sign of any payment. Now referred to ICO for their investigation.
UPDATE 3: Now they've shut down. Maybe they've finally been caught out with so many users seeing them for what they are. A bunch of cheating liars. The epitome of there being no morality in business.

Non stop waiting!!!
It looks like I am not alone here. I made a payment request in 22 May and when I enquired on 30 May, I was told repeatedly a new date that the payment would be done, which it did not.
In early July the CS said they would received new fund on around 10 July and this allows my request to be processed but this does not happen! This is frustrating especially everyone here has an expectation and we scan receipts because we want to ease the cost of living, but this non stop waiting just add more pressure to people who already struggle.
I understand that everything turn bad after covid, but after this long time, this should not be an excuse. Maybe you have a new payment system, you created it and it is supposed to work!

Do not trust this company in fulfilling your request
I am absolutely disgusted with the way that zip zero have treated me. I was expecting payment for April in May, May payment in June and June payment in July however all these payments are still outstanding and they have still not paid me these on a monthly basis as promised to top this off their customer service has been shocking. They haven’t responded on time even when management has got involved they have delayed responding to me. It’s been nearly over a week now and I believe if I didn’t chase this up yesterday asking for an update they still would’ve had no respond and maybe even ignored it.. Their response has been outrageous and not one I expected they have not compensated me for the stress they have caused.
I will now be clearing my account and once cleared I will no longer be with this panel because I think it’s absolutely atrocious. It was never like this before Covid as before Covid they would send your payments on time and get them over when expected however since Covid everything seems to have gone downhill with this company. Recently they advised me that they are back on track and all my payments will be made to me however they haven’t fulfilled this and instead just issued my one payment which was made in April Which means my future payments are now even more delayed as they will only issue one payment per month which I think is ridiculous as it’s their cause of delay. I recently sent them a complaint and it seems to me that they have blanked out that they are in the wrong.

Waste of time !
I have had a payment waiting since mid May and a payment from June. It’s supposed to be 7 working days… so I emailed support and they just keep saying 7 working days yet nothing has been processed… waste of time

Don't waste your time.
Despite assurances that payments will be made by beginning of June this has not come into fruition. I have two payments stuck in processing and one since 22 April. Don't waste your time.

Delay in payments and no commas.
Waiting on zip zero to fund gas bill, first requested in March , still not processed to the account just message appearing that they are working on it , had 3 more bills since and just paid them myself, but would not recommend as it is unreliable and just sucks up your data to sell on.

it is wasting time to scan receipt in this app, i have been scan everyday and saved several points, requesting it to turn to payment, i have been waited for three months, i did email the customer services many times, it just ask me to wait, it seems that they don't want to pay. Do not try to waste your time in this app, This business model is fooling customers.

Not good
I have had two payments processing now since 27 March and 28 May. Despite being assured that payments would be starting again from 11 June, both of mine are still showing as processing. Very disappointing.

FURTHER UPDATE - As at 31 July my payment shown as processing on 28th May has not been paid, despite you advising that your new terms of payment meant that it would be paid in July. When can I expect it to be paid please?

Way better than it used to be! Since they updated the app last year, it’s way easier to get cashback. They always have premium cashback offers on popular stores (e.g. Aldi, Morrisons, Poundland etc.)
You’re not going to be able to quit your day job but it’s definitely worth a download for a little extra cash off your bills. It is a bit annoying to set up some bill accounts (ie looking for the account sort codes, account numbers) but once it’s done, it’s done.

Ponzi scheme currently
Don't seem to of paid out since April. Got £30 owned to me and customer service are fobbing people off saying waiting for suppliers to pay. Watch out!

Paid a £45 Thames Water bill 14th May nearly a month later and still says processing contacted them they said will be paid by end of May now 11th June and still says processing AVOID THIS PLACE COMPLETE RUBBISH

Bill payment issues
Really like the app and have been with it a long time, the thing that lets it down is there’s no communication from them if there’s a problem, they just send out emails saying payments are due soon but that keeps passing with no payments being made to the bill, I now have 3 payment processing to my gas supplier, if they just came out and said look we having trouble and payments are not going to be made for a few months it would go down better than them just not saying anything, it was great up till this year but this is really letting them down
