Wish that they read what was the fault
Well, the UK must have better results than we do here in Australia.
Out of all the reviews on the Australian site, other than a very few, they are all at the bottom of the star chart.. so be careful.
I am disgusted... and they will not help, this is what happened. Here is my review..

As people are inclined to write only when they are unhappy, I have made it my aim to write reviews to put praise where it is due, but this time I am afraid that if there was a negative score, that is what this would get.
We are on an age pension, and so I brought some boots that were on special 20th Feb, 2024 (Order #8100173589) and they came within a few days.
They fitted very well when I tried them on, it was summer and I didn't need to wear them until it got cold which in Brisbane is not till late May or early June.
On the 14th June I wore them to an evening in our over 50's hall where we live, but after wearing them for a half hr I realised that there was a join right across the ball of the foot, (see photos). I had not previously seen or felt it as it was covered by a three quarter insert, so the join was not noticeable, and unfortunately the insert did not stop the join rubbing badly on my foot, as the insert is not very thick at that point.
Now, why on earth would anyone put a seam/join across the ball of the foot, I have never come across this before so it must be a production fault .
We wrote to the company straight after via their site and again with all the details a few days ago, but as yet we have not received a reply.
Update 21/07/2024.
We have now had a reply and they naturally wanted photos which we were very happy to supply, but here is their reply.
Thanks for contacting us.
We are sorry to hear that the shoes weren't at the level of comfort you were expecting.
Comfort is not classified as a fault in the manufacturing of a product and can differ from wearer to wearer. This isn't something that is covered in our policy for compensation after the shoes have been worn.
It is advised that once you’ve received your online order that you try your shoes on carpet flooring to test the comfort of the shoes.
You then have 30 days to return the item via our Online Returns Portal if the fit is not quite right for you.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to assist further on this occasion.
It was of course signed, which I will not put in here.
.................................................
AND, nowhere did I say that I was dissatisfied with the comfort of the shoes in my letter to Ziera, nor that the fit was not quite right for me, because other than the join/seam they were a perfect fit and they were comfortable, that was NOT the reason for my dissatisfaction, I kept saying that it was the Seam/Join across the ball of the foot that was the problem. I had tried them on at home, but the SEAM/JOIN across the ball of the foot was covering the three quarter orthotic and the problem did not become apparent for about half hr or more.
Perhaps she did not bother to look at the photos, or even read my letter as her reply has nothing to do with what I said. It is very, VERY obvious from the photos as to what the problem was.
