Beyond reason
Total Blarney about having to contact paypal as zettle are unable to help with PP's operational questions. To cap it all, pp's systems wouldn't allow drawdown of a weeklong sales of accrued funds. Utterly hopeless bunch, inc the impenetrable web page of the Account to find even the simplest answer. Typical claptrap from across the pond - cannot even provide a page with three figures showing income, service charge and settlement figures... as every business needs! sigh
Unreliable terminals with only 1 year warranty
We have now had four terminals security lock out and it would seem they are not fit for purpose, usually locking out when they are just out of the 1 year warranty, not very reliable and at £150 each not cheap, we will be changing provider.
Do not trust with your money
Not able to safely collect and store customers payments and will not give information as to why they will just keep the customers money - despite notifications to say issues are resolved no money hd been recieved

Excellent customer service given to me regarding my purchase of the Zettle card reader.
Unreliable Zettle Terminal. Poor customer service.
My company use Zettle and purchased a Zettle Terminal. The Terminal became permanently locked and could not be fixed. The device has not been tampered with, opened, or physically damaged in any way. It was however out of warranty. Zettle offered a derisory £10 discount for a new Terminal. Their Terminal product is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, and does not last a reasonable length of time. Their customer service is very poor. I will be looking to use an alternative provider.
Impossible to get support to help me…
Impossible to get support to help me connect my zettle reader to my android phone and bank account. I use sumup now. Much simpler!
Hides behind legislation it does not apply.
Hiding behind personal details law when a simple statement of there has been a complaint, albeit the purchase was 11 months ago. I was not given the opportunity to be involved in a complaint. I had to go through transactions to match up the money returned.
Excellent until it means acknowledging their system failed.
Zettle were always excellent until an issue regarding the possible malfunction of their card reader meant I lost a LOT of payments was raised.
They quickly became obtuse & unhelpful.
So I wrote the above ad THEN read all the otber reviews and I was surprised to find many others experienced tbe same - great when they were Izettl, before they weresold to Paypal, and also when the problem didnt involve loss of money!
I will reporting them to the FCA and changing which card reader I use.
