Really fun, relaxed, casual vibe. Such a heart warming, once in a life time experience. The session enhanced and strengthened bonds and relationships! It created a real reflection and almost clarified and put the cherry on top of our secure family network! The whole experience was joyful, full of laughter, we really enjoyed our experience at zenshots- we felt comfortable since the moment a staff member opened their doors, all staff were friendly, outgoing, approachable, “friend like” and allowed us to feel freely to be who we are to capture “real emotions” zen shots really do what they say!

Was gifted a photo shoot after niece won it. I am comparing this experience with my other shoots I have had elsewhere.

Megan was a wonderful photographer, whole session was lovely and quite enjoyable.

Unlike other photo shoots, no drinks offered.

I have however, gone away not wanting to return to see images due to the prices of them £115 for 1 image and the price goes up quick into £1000s.

As a mother on maternity leave all I can think is I am going to have to leave the images of my beautiful children. This is because the prices are so much higher than the other shoots I went to, even with buying prints and artwork of good quality with others.

You can pay monthly, but 30% discount is steep.

I had a great experience at my photoshoot. I was able to express myself and Tung captured my personality really well. I really loved watching my photos on a "big screen":) and Alex has been really good in providing me with the right product. The studio is in a great location and is very wellcoming and well set up.

Very good experiences I won 3 baby photoshoots and we had our 2nd one yesterday. The photographers are always lovely and all the staff are very friendly. The only thing I'd say is that it is very expensive when it comes to buying the photos and it does make you not want to take up the offer of the free shoots but it is always a very pleasant experience.

It was a great shoot, fantastic photographer. However, when it came to the end the price for the digital sand art was so expensive we just couldn’t afford it. £120 for one digital photo or £900 for 10 digital photos.
We won the photoshoot but that seems to be how they get people in as everyone seems to win.

We had a great morning at Zen Shots. Katie was so natural. We were a family group of 10, grandparents, our grown up children, their husband/wife and the four cousins. To start with everyone was a little reserved, but Katie warmed everyone up. The couples were asking for more and more! Great experience, can't wait to have the cinema show.

I had a dream wonderful experience

Our photographer, Megan, was brilliant. She made the session fun so it didn't feel as though we were 'posing' for photos. It was fun family time which she captured brilliantly. She had imaginative ideas to get 4 people relaxed & enjoying themselves which is very evident in the photos she has taken.

They tell you you’ve won a free shoot and then try to charge you an extortionate amount of money for photos. Even digital images are nearly £900 for 10! Absolutely ridiculous.
Stay clear and go with an independent photographer

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Tarryn was great at making sure we were informed of everything ahead of our shoot, and Tung was fantastic at making us feel at ease and have the most fun possible with the whole shoot! Highly recommend booking your shoot here :)

I had a good time with my wife,baby and mum at the Northampton centre,photograher was very good and very professional and everything went well until after the shoot where everyting was just too expensive... The prices are too high...

We had a wonderful time with our dog and had lots of fun and when we got home she slept then had her dinner then back to sleep in the Northampton studio and I would even say the photographer was enjoying it too thankyou so much

Love the photos, loved the experience came away with some lovely photos but they are super super expensive!
I won a free photoshoot and print and then I was thinking if I loved any of the other photos I'd buy some digitals expecting them to be a reasonable price it was over £100 for ONE and over £1000 for them all, I'd be expecting those prices for the the giant canvas and prints but not digitals, that being said we loved some of the photos and they did a great job so we got some digtals god it was expensive but we do love them.

Amazing stuff got there I was very impressed by how well they treated me and my partner I had an amazing time

My baby was smiling and enjoying the photoshoot. They have captured every small smile of by baby and so perfect. It was cheris to see such beautiful pictures of baby and family. Thanks Zen.

Oxford branch: Thank you, Tung, for making our very first photoshoot such a wonderful experience. Having two cats with us could have been tricky, but you made everything feel effortless!
I have found the team easy to communicate with, booking was easily done via phone and then some changes required were communicated via email, which was the perfect blend of options to get in touch.

This would be much higher but my experience was spoilt at the end when i said we would need to go away and think about a £1500 purchase (4 large prints for the wall plus about 25 digital copies) and was told that i needed to decide right now, that photos could be unavailable after our viewing session and I can't get over that practice at this price point.... However, if you can withstand (or even if you enjoy) the salesmanship.... They're very attentive and nice, lots of contact, the photographer engaged our kid really really well and got some good shots. Photographer positioned us to get interesting shots that felt right for us. They got us back in to look at the photos, coffee, snacks, nice slide show, go through some ideas on products to buy from the shots and how it could fit our home. Nice service overall, i would say sits in the middle; you're getting the Audi experience, not the porsche, not the ford :-). The set up is very basic but works, stripped back without a lot of the props and backdrops you get with some studios, couple of fill lights, the right camera for the job and a photographer that's engaging and has a good eye for a shot. While they were good at taking us through ideas on what to do with the shots, I think this best suits someone who knows exactly what they want and will drive things, bring props etc. And just need a bit of help on the details or how to achieve it.
.. the groupon deals and Facebook competition to get people in for a free shoot is standard practice now so just go in knowing that the model is to get you in cheap, then use emotion to drive you to buy big. We were offered £1200 to get high quality digital copies, then £1500 would get us those digital copies plus 4 big high quality prints for the wall... we've looked around and there are cheaper options... When I said we need to go away and think about it i was told a decision had to be made immediately and that our photos could be unavailable later. For me that really spoilt the experience, not to offer to keep the files for, say, a week to consider a £1500 purchase just baffles me. They apologised after I got angry and awkward but notably still didn't offer to ensure they kept the photos to give us time; perhaps my reaction made that too awkward because i said i don't respond to pressure selling and the answer would therefore be a no. Clearly the practice works for them and I don't understand why there aren't other reviews that highlight this but maybe I'm just a bit of a Karen! At least I can point it out so you don't get caught by surprise on this.

Megan was very kind, we felt very welcomed and into the photoshoot and felt like we could be ourselves throughout the shoot. We have a follow up appointment in the next few weeks, however I expect to have a very positive experience.
