Great software if you are looking for a one-stop shop for the back end of your gym. Only thing I would like to see is a longer cache for members to track their workouts.

Had a few small problems with duplicate accounts and double payments through Pay Simple but software is easy to learn and tracks members well.
ZP works great for our martial arts dojo better than some other software. However, there are often glitches that cause ZP to "crash". Whether these are system or server updates, it usually happens at the busiest part of the day. I can always log back in easily, but having to do so is sometimes inconvenient.
Great UI, but getting a straight answer from technical support for everyday issues has been difficult in places. Their customer support, however, has been really great so far, and I was even assigned a specialist to help with some issues more specific to my business. A lot of the platform is still in development, it would seem, and while I'm really optimistic about how it will be in the future it's a little frustrating at times now. A roadmap for app development and desktop platform would be nice.
Great CRM with good features. However server are slow at times with processing speeds completely dropping off. Additionally, when issue arise, staff is difficult to get on the phone.

I am a loyal zen planner customer. I have been approached by mind body several times and have not switched in hopes that zen planner will continue to update the customer back end. It is very challenging for clients to navigate through zen planner. Always get complaints that it’s difficult to use and not user friendly. The app doesn’t allow you to book single appointments and doesn’t allow you to easily add or change times from the packages clients purchase. I hope this issue can be fixed soon or I will have to start looking at other service providers. Thanks.
The main downside is that it cannot handle multi-location and the support team is only based in the USA, so receiving phone support is pretty much non-existent if you live outside of the States. They need a European, Middle Eastern or Australian Support Office to provide support to users in different time zones.
I am extremely satisfied with the ZenPlanner system for our business and even more so the very friendly & knowledgeable staff - who never seem to get annoyed by all my calls & questions ;)
We are loving Zen Planner! There are a few little glitches here and there, but they get resolved quickly. The support is outstanding! I really appreciate that you get to talk to real people when you call for help. They also have a lot of written and video documentation to help answer any questions. Wish I started using them a long time ago!

sorry guys. We've been using zen planner for a year and a half now, and still feel like we need to contact support very often to get assistance with using it. The scheduler is ok for classes, but is terribly difficult to use for my PT appointments. It takes way too many steps to add, remove, or move an appointment and so I just end up using my Outlook Calendar instead. Frustrating when I pay for zen, and Outlook and Google calendars are way easier to use. Also, when we call for assistance it takes a few hours or the next day before we can get help. I know if my customers aren't happy and I can't take care of them right away... there is a good chance that I lose them. Even our members have had numerous challenges with the app and registering for classes or even signing in at the front desk due to constant application error code. Honestly, if FBBC didn't require that we use zen, we would have found another system long ago.

Zen Planner is cool to have but it sucks when you have a quick question and call... you’ll just get a voice mail. BUT if you’re calling to sign up for the service, someone will always answer....too bad that once you get it, you’re on your own.
Robust system with a steep learning curve. It will probably do everything you'll ever want, but learning it will take time.
Customer service used to be top-notch. Now it's mediocre. Issues go unresolved for months at a time.
I feel like they're trying to be good at everything instead of awesome at a few things. I do miss the good old days.
Very easy to use, sometimes I get stuck but I call for help and I get a quick response by a friendly team member.
One of the things I wish I could do is send attachments with the e-mails.
