This proxy company is purposely overcharging on tariff fees
This proxy company used to be honest, but they have recently begun overcharging for tariff fees. They copied Buyee, who started this tactic. Here is the message I received from Zen Market when I requested a refund for being overcharged: "Please be advised that any fee differences resulting from duty calculations are non-refundable". They admitted that they will keep the difference! Shameful. If they are unwilling to drop this dishonest tactic, there are other honest proxies.

Our fee structure is published separately, while customs charges are determined according to the applicable import regulations and item classification. Our Fees page also notes that customs fees may apply to international shipments.
We understand your frustration regarding the difference between the amount collected and the final customs calculation. However, the amount collected in advance is based on the duty calculation available at the time of shipment, and differences resulting from the final assessment are handled according to the applicable DDP/customs process. This is separate from the fees ZenMarket charges for providing its proxy service.
We appreciate your feedback and understand that clearer communication around these calculations is important, particularly when customs rules and tariff rates can be complex.

Super high extra costs
The sellers themselves are perfect and have cheap prices, but the prices at Zenmarket are very expensive. I had to pay import duties of 25 euros twice because something went wrong, so it still ends up being very expensive for me. I'm better off ordering from regular stores, so it is a good site, but the costs are very high. I would recommend Neokyo Mercari instead. Thank you.

Gaslighting to avoid refunding me
They changed my Parcel #8 from Surface to FEDEX. When I asked them to refund the cancellation fee I had to pay due to it not being my chosen shipping method, they claimed that I selected "Use next available shipping method" which I definitely did NOT as I have screenshot evidence to prove that I selected "Leave some items at the warehouse". They are full on gaslighting me to avoid refunding money for a mistake that THEY made.
This same situation has happened multiple times too throughout the last two weeks, leaving me unable to ship what I want and with some of my things now having been in the warehouse for more than 60 days.
I have asked them to look into it again but if this doesn't get resolved then I am keeping this review at 1 star.
