Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible! I spent hours on the phone with a Philippino lady telling me my bank lied to me about why my zelle account through my online mobile banking app wasn't working. She even offered to 3-way call my bank. I. Whoch she contwcted the wrong bank. When she reached the correct bank she then proceeded to tell the bank supervisor, "you need to stop lying to your customers!!" Zelle has no solutions nor takes any responsibility for "in-house" issues. Instead blames the bank and says we cant help you. Good luck trying to speak with anyone in the USA or corporate, or wven a supervisor. I was denied everything.

Do not waste your time with Zelle or…

Do not waste your time with Zelle or Wells Fargo. What they tell you is bull. Twice in the last 3 days I could not pay vendors' bills from $150 to $300, even though I have done business with Wells Fargo over 30 years and have six-figure balances routinely in my accounts. I am going to a bank that uses Venmo to see if they are better.

Not reliable

I had previously twice sent my son money for birthdays and Christmas for his family without problems. Most recently we were told he had to enroll his phone and/or email with Zelle. He tried without success. I stopped payment but have to wait 5 days to recover my money. Maybe.

Another Lost Zelle Customer Here

I used to be a Zelle user and will not longer user their service after being defrauded. I reported the incident to Zelle and they did absolutely nothing about it. There is no such thing as buyer protection with Zelle.

I called customer service for questions…

I called customer service for questions about me receiving a Zelle and I was told to speak directly to the bank but the bank didn’t see the Zelle so I had more questions about what could be wrong- like maybe the Zelle was sent to another credit union as it was being indicated to me by the Zelle website. I was really confused and I still do not have my money that was sent to me through Zelle

Awful app filled with CYA pitfalls

Cumbersome user experience, baffling 'add recipient' patterns.
2k spending limit per day makes the app a pain to use. I now have to set up reminders to pay the invoice in full. By Friday (5 days later) I'll have sent the full amount.

The Worst Customer Service that I have…

The Worst Customer Service that I have ever encountered in my Life ! Why does a successful US business do business with an Indian Call Center that has poor English speaking skills and even a poorer understanding of English ? These are two entirely different things and two very important things when it comes to Customer Service . Honestly I have never seen a business have so many pissed off customers ! Just think how much more profitable this business could be if they had Customer Service Reps that knew how to solve problems and make customers happy ! I am a very successful man and do business all over the world ! I have never seen anything so bad in my life ! I am an American and they were talking like they were in New Delhi ! This is not just a failure on behalf of the leadership at Venmo . This is complete and utter disrespect of the customers that are responsible for this companies success and the 1000s of people that work there . Billion dollar companies fail all the time . People will leave you and you will die as a company if you do not change this immediately .

Zelle is unfortunately a total scam

Zelle is unfortunately a total scam. I sent money to a friend via my banks Zelle account. My bank confirmed delivery. My friend’s bank did not receive the money. Zelle confirmed that they have the correct email and phone number yet did not deliver the money. They also claim they do not have access to see what happened to the money. So what good are they? What is the point in using them? My money is gone and my friend still needs her payment that I owe her.

This is one of the worst services I…

This is one of the worst services I have ever used in my life!

We have tried sending money several times to the person who mows our lawn- we have called Zelle about this several times as well. They CONSTANTLY hold the payment under review and then cancel the transfer. We are only sending a few hundred dollars to this person (who we have already verified, and yet ZELLE thinks they have the authority to tell us who we can and cannot send money to.

I expect there to be a class action lawsuit against this company in the future- why are they randomly targeting specific people and disallowing their Zelle payment transfers when we have already stated that said recipient is a legitimate contact? This certainly sounds like discrimination to me.

My friend routinely transfers money through Zelle to her roommate for rent/bills and yet she never has any issues- and she is sending more money than we do (thousands versus several hundred). Why do you allow her transactions and disallow our transactions? Clearly Zelle believes it is ok to discriminate against certain customers for certain reasons.

Needless to say, AVOID ZELLE AT ALL COSTS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PROVIDING A SERVICE THAT WORKS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Their customer service department is also located overseas, so it is very often difficult to undersand the person with whom you are talking. They also go out of their way to make sure that they CANNOT RESOLVE YOUR ISSUE- and this is the ISSUE THAT THEY CREATED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

ZELLE: Please tell me why you won't allow us to send money to our lawn guy when we have repeatedly tried to send money to him.

Is your company stupid? Are you trying to lose customers?

DO NOT EVER USE ZELLE! Use a different company to transfer money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Zelle is such garbage as the financial…

Zelle is such garbage as the financial money transfer tool. The banks should trash it asap. Recently a buyer of a used tool sent me the payment through Zelle. The transaction/money was transferred instantly but there had been no fund at my bank for days. Multiple calls to the bank showed no fund and no pending transfer but the buyer's side bank showed the fund was withdrawn from his side, and I even received a text from Zelle right after the transfer. There is no answer as to why this happened. The end result was that the buyer's side withdraw had to be canceled. What a piece of junk and waste of time to all involved!!

Do not do your business banking with zelle

Do not do your business banking with t Zelle. The bank contract with Zelle does not include or allow OnPoint credit union staff to contact Zelle if your payment is on hold (gets put on hold) by Zelle. If you are a newer user (payments within the last year), they will hold all your payments if you try any back-to-back payments of $1000. I spent an hour trying to get a payment through on Friday (was told everything was clear), and on Monday, I was back, unable to send the final payment. This cost me an extra $200 per my contract agreement for a late fee, all because onpoint HAS NO DIRECT CONTACT with Zelle????! I've been a member since 1993 and will be taking my business elsewhere. BAD business.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. On November 22, a Friday night, I received two unauthorized Zelle transfers into my Chase account ($1,000 and $1,750) from a total stranger. Soon after, I got a suspicious phone call asking me to return the money to a different account, which made me suspect fraud immediately.

Being an honest person, I went to the Chase branch in Boca Raton on Monday morning and reported everything to the manager, Roberto. I told him I didn’t recognize the sender and didn’t want money that wasn’t mine. Even though I was told I wasn’t required to return it, I insisted on doing the right thing. A case was opened, and the funds were reversed.

And how was I thanked? Zelle terminated my access completely, without notice, without explanation. I’ve spent hours on the phone with both Zelle and Chase. Chase blames Zelle. Zelle says they can’t help. No one knows anything. No one takes responsibility.

Meanwhile, my business has been severely harmed, as many of our operations rely on Zelle. It’s like I’m being punished for being honest. Zelle’s total lack of transparency, customer service, and accountability is unacceptable. It’s been months, and I still don’t have access or answers.

I will be pursuing legal action if this is not resolved. If anything goes wrong, they will disappear, and you’ll pay the price for their failure.

I give up on Zelle

I give up on Zelle. They are impossible. I will never go near them again. I am having repeated denials of my attempts to send money when I have plenty of money in my account. What is their problem?

Zelle customer support is useless they…

Zelle customer support is useless they have no authority to help. The AI online chat is deliberately limited and useless, the app contact through my bank useless, my bank helping capabilities non-existent.
I am unable to make a once common money transfer.
There are zero avenues to remedy the issue. This is going on for a week with no end in sight.
